Our league just made some serious wholesale rule changes in the last week. We were a 10-team, one keeper player format. We just changed it to a mandatory 2-keeper player league, keepers have to come from 2 different positions, and your keeper counts towards the round he was selected the year before. We also just switched the starting roster to 1QB, 2RBs, 2WRs, 1TE, 1RB/WR/TE, 1K, and 1D/ST. We get 6 points per TD, 1 point for every 10 yards rushing/receiving, 1 point for each 20 passing yards, 1 point per reception, and 5 bonus points for every 100 yards rushing/receiving.
I have ended up having the 2nd selection in the 1st round. Last year, my draft, in round order, was P Holmes, R Moss, B Westbrook, F Taylor, D Branch, Bulger, TJ Housh, Droughns, D Foster (10th round) ......
The LJ owner also had S Jax and Portis, so both will be available at my pick. Rudi Johnson, Ronnie Brown and P Manning will also be available.
So, I have alot of decisions to make here. First, who do I keep? I'm leaning towards B Westbrook as a 3rd round pick (PPR league value), throwing R Moss back, and taking TJ Housh as a 7th rounder. So, for the 1st round, I can probably have S Jax, Ronnie Brown, or Portis, or I can be really bold and take Reggie Bush. My gut tells me not to take Bush in the 1st, but this IS a keeper league, so I'm not sure. Also, I'm not sure if Randy Moss should be thrown back in the mix. I have no idea where my 2nd round pick will be since every round is drawn randomly.
My other thought is to go WR in the first round (L Fitz or C Johnson), and hope a decent RB falls to me in the 2nd. I'm not as confident in that choice, but could be convinced.
