Display Model TV's (1 Viewer)

Anybody have any experience with this?  I want a gaming tv and have been doing some research so I decided to actually go into hhgregg to see some of them.  There were a couple of display models 50% off.  Obviously the tv's probably have a good amount of hours on them but will there probably be too many hours to make buying one worthwhile?

Thoughts FBGs?

I got one years ago back when big screens used tubes and one of the tubes was jacked that the picture was never that great.

As wilked said you can get a brand new 60" Visio for under $1,000 so I don't know why you would even bother.

Eh, I'm just being stupid I guess.  Thinking I could get a $1,000 tv for $500.

Move along, nothing to see here expect my stupidity.

I don't see any harm in getting it for 1/2 off. $500 bucks is $500 bucks.

I bought a floor model Sony 60" LCD and it lasted 12-15 years with only three bulb changes. If it's a cheap brand then I probably wouldn't bother, but a Sony/Samsung go for it.
