Division champions: What are you doing with your bye week? (1 Viewer)

I'm torn.

Should I continue to obsess over fantasy football to the degree that its undermining my career and my marriage?

Or should I take the week off?

"Division champions: What are you doing with your bye week?"

Enjoying the calm before the storm. :goodposting:

This question is faulty in that it assumes only one league.

The only league where I have a BYE is the FFA Varsity league - I will be lording my status over the forum there.

Otherwise I have one last game to lock in 1st (regular season) in one league, a playoff match-up in another, and in the subscriber contest I'm still alive, so even though I can do nothing to affect my status there I continue to obsess on who I want to do well and who I want to miss the team bus.

I'm not sure I could play in a league with a bye week. I want to play! Seems boring to sit around and wait for a week. What do you do to pass the time? Take up knitting?

Locking up my week 15/16 defenses, making sure Amani Toomer/Brandon Jackson don't burn me...that is about it...

You just go on with business as usual, and then right when you start to get that little bit of nervousness or anxiety about your lineup you relax with the thought of getting your entry fee back....and maybe more.

What is this bye week concept you speak of? While you're at it, can you also explain the playoffs concept as well....

I have a bye week in all three of my leagues, so I spend the extra time wondering whether my leagues are pathetic.

My team has already had a better season than last year because we got the bye week so that's like a win. That's better. Even if I don't win next week, we did better than last year.

(Or whatever stupid thing Wade Philips was saying after the Giants loss last year...) :goodposting:

Breaking down some game film. Team meetings. You know, the usual stuff along with a short week of practice.
