-- Everyone on the Titans' injury list except Mawae, Ball, and Harris will play and be virtually 100%.

-- Notes from practice:

-----------From multiple unrelated reports, after 3 weeks of rest that Chris Johnson looks lightning fast. Has his legs back and looks great.

-----------Leroy Harris at center. Universally agreed by those involved that he is a no brainer physical and strength upgrade. He's got 4 assistants on the best O line in football to help with the blocking calls. They feel it is not necessarily a negative and could actually open up some abilities that Mawae can't do.

-----------There were 3 sessions from practice this week that were uncharacteristically closed to the media. Read into that what you will but Fisher hardly ever does that.

-----------Weather. Warmer than expected. About 47 at game time going down to 40 or so by the end. Rain most of the day but should be tapered off by game time. If anything, sporadic sprinkles. Field is reported to be in great shape and middle was resodded a couple of weeks ago.

-----------KVB. Holy cow is that dude amped. Either he's going to rip Flacco a new one or he'll burn out early...but he is on like donkey kong, as Peyton would say.

-----------Phat Albert is good to go with plenty of dline depth to help him.

Thoughts:

====== I think Heimerdinger relishes this opportunity to play chess vs RayRay and Reed. In the first game he completely used RayRay, he duped him on a play at the goalline for the Titans winning TD. They'd been running this pass play (twice) before where Crumpler lines up on the right end, goes about 5 yards and then bleeds out to the flat. On that play, Alge made the fact and Collins pumped -- RayRay completely sold out and Crumpler was wide open for the winning TD. Heimerdinger is going to take his shots at taking advantage of Reed and RayRay's aggressiveness and anticipation. We'll see who wins that battle.

====== That having been said, you aren't going to see many passes long between the hashmarks.

====== I bet you do see at least 2 unconventional plays from the Titans. I'm not going to call them trick plays, but they will be something that they haven't shown all year.

====== Players to watch that I think will be the biggest impact players:

== Chris Johnson -- he'll definitely have many chances...and I bet a couple of them are out wide.

== Chris Carr -- #1 in NFL in KR average. He killed the Ravens in game 1.

== Michael Griffin on special teams. Just iso on him and watch the full play.

== Ahmard Hall. Not just as lead blocker, either.

Titans 25-16. My contrarian pick is Titans 5-3. :football:

Weather-

Showers ending around game time. Temps in the upper 30's with winds around 17 mph.

Sounds like it favors the defenses. Personally I think the Ravens will try to open it up vs. Tenn. Expect to see 30+ pass attempts by Flacco.

I think you may have the score reversed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In order for the Titans to score 27 points they would need 3 touchdowns. I don't see them rushing for more than maybe one, and I surely don't see Collins throwing for 2-3 against the Ravens. It's O.K. to dream though. Don't drive drunk on the way back home even if you are pissed.

Advice for fans whose team doesn't play at 1 p.m.: don't go to bed early the night before & get up at 4 a.m. on game-day  I've run all of my errands, cleaned my house, called everyone I know just to say "hi", and am now torturing myself watching MD/GT hoops. My oil doesn't need changing, my FWB is busy until later, and that fifth of Sambuca in my freezer is whispering my name.

I've thought & re-thought this game. Barring a lopsided TO margin for one team, I just don't see either team blowing out the other. As my friend roadkill has said, I think the Titans at their best are better than the Ravens at theirs. I think Tennessee will win this, but one more mistake by one team than the other will likely make the difference.

Titans' watchers: how much does Mawae's injury hurt the Titans?

I think this is a huge blow to the Titans, he is a great center that cannot just be raplaced, Ngata should eat the backups lunch all day and the Titans running game will suffer.

Ok, so you're Fisher. What do you differently (if anything) to offset losing Mawae?

If the Titans played as flawlessly as they did vs the Steelers a few weeks ago, they will win regardless of how the Ravens play.

If they make a mistake or two and the Ravens do not, it's a tossup.

I think the Titans get up for this and force some turnovers.

Titans- 20 Ravens - 12

I agree with the possible opening up of the offense, but I'd be VERY surprised at 30 attempts by Flacco.

More fullback usage, rolled pockets (which sucks for Collins), double TE sets on passing downs with some motion to pick up any issues on inside blocking due to no Mawae. They also could very well use LenDale more.Ultimately I think you'll see more runs to the outside and some spread formations to keep Ngata and company from pounding the Titans through the middle, but if you're weak from the inside-out there's really no hiding it. Their #2 center has to step up.

I think Baltimore wins this one.

Titans Inactives

Titans defensive linemen Albert Haynesworth and Kyle Vanden Bosch are both in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Ravens.

Both players have recovered from injuries suffered late in the season. Also, as expected, center Kevin Mawae and defensive end Dave Ball are among the team's inactives.

Also inactive for the Titans: receiver Chris Davis, CB Tyrone Poole, running back Chris Henry, tight end Casey Cramer and receiver Lavelle Hawkins.

Baltimore has announced their inactives list for the game with Tennessee. The inactive Ravens are LB Robert McCune, WR Terrance Cooper, DB Evan Oglesby, RB Jalen Parmele, LB Antwan Barnes, OT Oniel Cousins and G David Hale. Todd Bouman is the third QB.

James Brown on the pre game show giving PacMan a verbal beatdown in this interview. Although I can't believe that James asked Pacman why he can't get out of the strip clubs. Spoken like a man who hasn't been in a strip club in a while.

In terms of the NFL, I think this is the best weekend each year. These 4 games are always the most exciting to me. I also think that the greatest games in NFL history have been played in the Divisional playoff weekend.

As a Steeler fan, I have mixed feelings here. It would be better for Pittsburgh (provided we win tommorow, NO sure thing by any means) for the Ravens to win today, so that we get home field next week. Plus, I don't believe, as many people do here, that Baltimore is a better team than Tennessee. The main problem is Flacco; he's still too new and untested for me.

But also as a Steeler fan, it's really difficult for me EVER to root for Baltimore. So I will be just as happy to see them lose.

Flacco did well to get those few yds.

PS hell of a catch, too bad it didn't count.

Anyone else tired of the "black leotard" look being sported by the Ravens? It makes them look like they just came from ballet practice.

Titans showing 8 in the box and not even hiding it.

If you're going to run up the middle on third and long, why not just quick kick it?

Them and any other team that does it but actually w/the white tops theirs aren' t TOO bad IMO. worst evah is when they wear all the same color, it's like PJs

What, you mean like him eating popcorn or something? ??I call BAL 24-13
I could see him running some wildcat plays. In this type of weather and this sort of game, yards will be at a premium. I gotta think if Tennessee brought VY in and ran him five times, he could get 20-25 yards. Might also catch Baltimore by surprise or could be useful at the goal line.

Absolutely the difference in this game. Baltimore has no one like CJ3 and no one that can stop him, either. He's the reason I picked Tenn
