WTF wasn't his arm hit when he threw?
And it got them a safetyGreat ST play by Thomas. Nothing like awareness! He was fighting off a block and still had the awareness to locate teh ball, stay out of the endzone, and bat it backwards. Very nice.
Doesn't look like itWTF wasn't his arm hit when he threw?
Not a big an of the play call there.it was a great play, but terrible call by the refs. He was hit when he threw.great play by the Gmen DL
good point sorry 'bout thatIsn't there a Patriots offseason thread somewhere other than in this one?
I thought the same thing - looked like Tuck was grabbing him as he threw - thought that would negate the penalty because his throw could obviously be effected. Is there a rule on this? Seems weird.WTF wasn't his arm hit when he threw?
Only if Samuel and Co. keep getting picks.Thsi game is going exactly the way most of us thought it would. Low scoring and close.Great effort by McNabb there but good call. I don't care how well the Eagles defense plays. The can't win this game without any offense can they?
he was hit before he threw too, by TuckI don't think you can claim that once in the graspit was a great play, but terrible call by the refs. He was hit when he threw.great play by the Gmen DL
Not sure that they really take this into account as much as they should. Can't blame the refs here, it was a bad playcall by Philly to put them in that situation.it was a great play, but terrible call by the refs. He was hit when he threw.great play by the Gmen DL
Kind of a slow-devloping play from the 2.Next possession time for Andy to dust off his pages of TE screens, WR screens, front porch screens...Doesn't look like itWTF wasn't his arm hit when he threw? Not a big an of the play call there.
The majority of teams would love to have Eli as their starting qb. Not sure why you get nervous. He made one really bad pass this game. Other than that, he's playing ok (not great but not terrible).Am I the only Giants fan that gets nervous every time Eli drops back to pass?

At the very least they need a couple first downs and give the defense some rest/ field poisition. How about Rocca's post-safety punt? That was huge.Carney gives Philly a break there.Birds need to mount some kind of drive here.
I don't know, i don't watch Eli enough but i haven't seen too many spirals. Seems like quite a bit are looking a little "duckish"The majority of teams would love to have Eli as their starting qb. Absolutely. People have to ralize that these guys are playing in cold and extremely windy conditions. Weather teh wind is at your back or in your face, it still makes passing very difficult.Anyone looking for a 300 yard performance by either of these guys is going to be sadly mistaken.QBs and kickers are going to have a tough time today. Not turning it over is going to determine who wins this one.Wonder who is more nervous with their QB right now, Philly fans or Giant fans...I don't know, i don't watch Eli enough but i haven't seen too many spirals. Don't think OP meant that Eli was bad, just that he looks a little "off" today, which I agree with. I'm not saying there aren't reasons, and I'm not saying he's a bad QB, but based on what we've seen so far, I'd be a nervous Giants fan today as well.Of course, I'd be a nervous Eagles fan as well based on what we've seen out of McNabb, so it probably doesn't matter.Good post.JThe majority of teams would love to have Eli as their starting qb. That's exactly my point. Their 'offness' isnot just a coincidence.Don't think OP meant that Eli was bad, just that he looks a little "off" today, which I agree with. seems to have been a big momentum change...It works like a bad punt. Not too much harm for PHilly there. Unlike Eli's pick..........
I was thinking the same thing. The announcers totally missed that one..........So 1st and 5 and the 21 is better than 1st and 10 at the 16?
