Great ST play by Thomas. Nothing like awareness!

He was fighting off a block and still had the awareness to locate teh ball, stay out of the endzone, and bat it backwards. Very nice.

And it got them a safety

I thought the same thing - looked like Tuck was grabbing him as he threw - thought that would negate the penalty because his throw could obviously be effected. Is there a rule on this? Seems weird.

Not sure that they really take this into account as much as they should.Can't blame the refs here, it was a bad playcall by Philly to put them in that situation.

Absolutely. People have to ralize that these guys are playing in cold and extremely windy conditions. Weather teh wind is at your back or in your face, it still makes passing very difficult.Anyone looking for a 300 yard performance by either of these guys is going to be sadly mistaken.QBs and kickers are going to have a tough time today. Not turning it over is going to determine who wins this one.

Not that I like the INT, but I like that McNabb threw that pass.

Not throwing it is a sack and a punt. The throw gave them a shot and wound up NYG ball at the 20 - not much difference.

Very important for the Eagles D to hold them to a FG here. A touchdown right before the half tends to be a big momentum swinger. Down 8-7, after playing so poorly, wouldn't be so bad.
