DL Pickup Dynasty (1 Viewer)

Need to pickup a DL to replace E. James. Deep dynasty league and the pickings are slim. Here are the guys I'm considering, but I don't know a ton about any of them.

DE Ray Edwards - With James out he should get more reps. Dropped in draft due to character issues.

DE Juqua Thomas - With Kearse out he should be on the field more. Recorded a sack in each of the first two games.

DT Shaun Cody - Dropped a goose egg week 1, but came up with 5 tackles in week 2. Certainly the most heralded of the group and plays UT so there is some potential.

Any gut feelings would be appreciated. Leaning toward Cody, but I would hate to miss out on a sack machine with one of the others.

I know you said pickings are slim, but perhaps Ryan Denney is still available on your wire? I realize he benefited from a game plan that went directly away from Schobel in week 2, but Denney has shown flashes in the past and could put up good sack numbers this year.Otherwise, I have heard Ray Edwards is in line for most of the DL work with E. James out for the year. I don't know much about J. Thomas and I would stay away from DT unless your league specifically calls for a DT position (in which case I'm surprised he's available). Even the best DTs are unpredictable from week to week (more so than DEs).

I don't think Juqua Thomas puts up much going forward. I think the Eagels second line takes a big hit goign from Cole to McDougle.

If Denney's out there, I'd grab him, otherwise I like Edwards of this bunch.
