DNC Leaks...official thread (1 Viewer)

Meh. Trump happened because he's a useful tool. A vessel. No one actually wants him, specifically and personally, to do anything. He's just the closest gin bottle that the voters can throw through the window of a busted, corrupt, and contemptuous government.
I beg to differ -- there actually are plenty of people out there who really do see Trump as a savior / messiah type. Regardless, my point stands. Voting for a dangerously clueless reality TV personality in order to "throw a bottle through the window" isn't a super valid or intelligent way to address political grievances.

What exactly is there to question?  It's a video...
Which can't be edited or doctored to mislead at all, right? There's a reason that even Fox isn't running with this stuff. James O'Keefe's history doesn't exactly inspire confidence that he's a legitimate journalist. Consider the source.

Disturbing to actually see it before your eyes. Country really is in the crapper and half of Americans couldn't care less. As long as it's benefitting their "side".  And when you get to DC, both sides really suck.

If it was proven that there was no doctoring you still wouldn't give a crap.

Voting for someone because you don't like the other candidate more or what they stand for is a great way to address political

grievances.  There are lot of people unhappy about the establishment.

Care to unpack these grievances against the establishment that you think Trump will address?

Maybe his/RNC emails are secured? HRC was circumventing security controls put in place by our government to prevent things like this from happening and keep our sensitive data secured, and by doing so the content was put out there to be accessible by hacker organizations. Whose fault is it that these hacker organizations accessed it in that scenario?
Hillary's private email server had nothing to do with the DNC hacks.   Different machines.   Different times.  Different hackers.

Uh, no. People who don't bother to pay attention and vote are ####ing themselves, not getting ####ed.
When 10% of the population can give Clinton v. Trump - those people are definitely doing the #######...  Its like Sodom and Gomorrah for that group.  I would not be shocked to see god smite the entire country with burning sulfur as a result of that hedonistic behavior...

It's too bad partisan loyalties are preventing people from noticing all of the corruption going on.  The level of collusion between politicians, media, donors, parties, etc. is unacceptable.

Come on.  This is unfair to hedonism

:goodposting:  And it's not anyone wearing tin foil hats. It's about using common sense. Yet many on the left here don't have common sense because they think they know what is best for everyone.

Care to unpack your lack of acknowledging why people voted for Sanders and Trump?
So no, eh? I'm shocked.

I voted for Bernie and am very familiar with why folks voted for him. He's a serious guy with a ton of experience and has held consistent policy positions for decades, many of which I agree with.

Trump is a clueless imbecile who has run almost exclusively on the wall, the Muslim ban, and a bunch of other xenophobic nonsense.

And people are supporting them because in their opinion they are anti establishment. Have a drink and settle down.

Everyone notices it, and most of us agree with you that it unacceptable. But it is incredibly effing stupid to burn the entire country down to address it.

10% of the public ####ed the other 90% - same as it ever was....
90% ####ed themselves, by being apathetic twits.  Or, worse, people too pure to damage their holiness through voting for an imperfect human contaminated by politics.

At some point you have to stand up and say "I expect more from my leaders."  Until then, you are every bit as much of the problem as the politicians who take advantage of folks like you.

Nice try...try shots to relax.
I'm good to go. We're probably looking at a wave election in a few weeks, and I can live with Hildabeast since she'll come with a Democratic Senate, the most liberal SC we've seen in my lifetime, and likely some pretty significant long term damage to the GOP.

It will never get fixed unless people renounce their party loyalty and change to NPA. In other words with all the stupid people still goose-stepping behind their party leaders, nothing will change.

Republicans and conservative media have demonized her for years, Congress investigated her non-stop, literally her entire e-mail history has been released to the public and still there is no smoking gun.

90% of the complains are half-baked innuendo, propaganda and making the trivial sound sinister.  The ####### ridiculous conversation about "foreign agents" (OMG, sounds serious!) yesterday is just the latest example.  But that's how it goes with Clinton.  Being outed as fools and liars hasn't slowed anyone down in 25 years now.

The other 10% is the dirty, but normal, side of politics.  A thing that only exists in the first place because people eventually get tired of shooting each other in the streets and decide that horse trading, pork barreling, and vote swapping -- even when you hate the other side -- is a better way to do it.  The dirt is the central piece.

Clinton also handily defeated her only opponent in the primary after having worked the politics so successfully only Sanders bothered to run.  And she's going to win handily in the general election too.

Once she wins she'll have the opportunity to create a lasting legacy on the Supreme Court, and there's a longshot that Dems take the House and earn the ability to address many of the problems that have been locked down for the last eight years.

Sign me the #### up.

Bernie had a lot of support...more than expected and it was about Hillary and the establishment.
I was addressing thoughts on Trump, not Bernie.

HTH

And if you think much of Trumps support were Bernie supporters, you are nuts.

Once again you aren't even close. I never came close to implying many Bernie supporters are Trump supporters.

:lmao:

You whiffed buddy!

You could have saved us all 5 minutes and just said:

"I am still brainwashed."

Slightly after you stand up and say that, you should use your vote. In between you may even become a candidate. The possibilities are practically mind blowing
