Do beard people shampoo their beards? (1 Viewer)

I look forward to the time when people look back on beards and realize they are just as cool as when goatees were all the rage.

Of course, but it's not like you have to scrub it like crazy. The rinse from shampooing your hair pretty much streams down all in it and cleans it, so it's killing two birds with one stone.

Yes I just continue the shampooing down to the Beard.

 at conditioner.
Shampoo isn't for hair. It's for the scalp, to remove buildup that clogs the pores. This isn't really an issue on the face so much.. Conditioner is for hair.

Yep! Usually too lazy to grab the stuff recommended by my brother - Tea Tree Shampoo, which works great. So i go lazy with whatever's floating around in the shower.

I've had a beard since after my open heart surgery two years ago. Shampoo is a must when I let it get longer in the fall/winter. The rest of the year it's short I just use soap.

:lmao: What red blooded American male owns conditioner, let alone conditioner for their beard?

I mostly use water for both and call it good enough. But if you're already buying product, might as well buy the right one. Can't see wasting money on scalp perfume for my facial hair. If you choose to, I won't question your masculinity. Takes all types.

Isn't it weird that he'd spend money on beard conditioner instead of sick kids?

For the past 3 winters I have grown an epic beard. The wife HATES it. Around the 3rd month you need to do what you need to do to get laid. A little conditioner on the beard that's sanding the wife's neck/face/thighs allows the night to continue.

Don't forget to brush it. Keeps it smooth.

I shampoo and condition my beard daily in the shower. Afterwards, I brush through it with a comb and apply a beard conditioner on my dry beard. You gotta treat your beard right.

I condition both my hair and my beard. My beard more often than my hair for I only wash my hair once a week or so while my beard gets washed evrytime I wash my face.
