Do you think the Jets should pay trade up for Bush (1 Viewer)

Do you think the Jets should trade up for Reggie Bush?

  • ABSOLUTELY! The guy is a future HOFer

  • YES... Radio City Music Hall would go nuts! The media and fans would eat it up....

  • Only if they have to give up their two firsts, and that's it

  • HELL NO! RB isn't their biggest need, and they can get D'Brick and a RB later in Rnd 1

Take their chances and call NO's bluff.

NYJs are in the same boat as HOU.....so many needs. They should keep their picks and hope Bush falls to them or just take DBrick if Bush is gone.

No. Brick and Maroney or Williams later is the correct answer.

Edit: Or as posted above, maybe Bush still falls to them at 4.

You NEVER make a pick to make the media and fans happy.

You do what's best for your team. If that makes them happy, so be it. If it pisses them off (see Houston) so be it.

If indeed the rumors are true and Casserly is history after this draft (and he knows it), the guy is taking bullets for the team right now. That would also mean he's not calling the shots on the draft pick and the guy is a true professional.

I'm assuming you're referring to the second option here. I didn't vote for it, but the way the poll is set up I doubt most are taking it as a pick just to please the media/fans. The poll seems to be set up from top to bottom so it's go all-out for Bush down to only for a reasonable price, down to not at all. This manner suggests that the second option is more of a "they should take Bush, but I'm not calling him a sure-fire HOFer like option 1 says quite yet."Just the way it comes off..

I agree with your logic but professional sports are a MARKETING game now and the money generated by this guy in New York would be amazing!! It is all about the $$$$$. That is why I voted #2.

Here's the results of the last time the NY Jets packaged two first rounders to move up.

Baby Sapp my ####... He does look like a baby version of TODAY's Warren Sapp though.
:goodposting: I am betting that Bush is no D Rob and Tangini is no Badaway!

lol @ Jets if they give away the house to get Bush and lmao @ that "value pick chart" (where 1.01 is worth 3000 pts etc) everyone is suddenly treating as gospel that says a #7 and #8 isn't worth the #1.

Do something right for once Jets: stand pat.
