Does anyone else do this? (1 Viewer)

I'm a Jets fan and I do this to a point (benching Bowe this week for Curtis), but wouldn't sit a stud when they play the Jets. One of my buddies NEVER starts a player against the Ravens, no matter who it is, and even drafts players accordingly. I'm just curious if anyone else benches players they know they SHOULD start just because they play your team.

:excited:

I suffer through it, proclaiming that I'd like for them to score a TD or two, but to lose to the Redskins. It can be painful, and it's certainly bittersweet.

The only thing that might happen is I might be less objective evaluating their prospects, which I fight like mad to avoid.

Benching Eli & starting JT O'Sullivan because I don't want to find myself hoping one of my FF players plays well against the Steelers. :bs:

This is what I do. I am a huge Jets fan, but if I have a player against the Jets I generall would like all scoring to go through my players with the end result a win for the Jets. Best of both worlds if you ask me.

When you are a Lions fan you find players to start against your favorite team.

As a Texans fan, for several years the only joy you got of the game was at least knowing that your fantasy team did well

How bad would it be to see your home team lose, only to add to it that you benched the guy that crushed them.

Umm...no.

My players performance (or lack thereof) will in no way be affected by my support of the team he's facing. I want to win my FF game, therefore I start the players I think will score the most points, whether or not they're playing my favorite NFL team.
