So my wife and child return from Disney with an addiction.  Apparently Dole Pineapple Whip is the rage at Disney, creates spontaneous orgasms, clears the complexion, and balances all of the vital humors.  They won't stop talking about this stuff.

Me, I've never had it.  Still, to satisfy the monkeys on their respective backs I've ordered some up on Amazon.  I figure I'll break it out the 4th of July weekend.  Maybe some whippets for me.

I hear it is Vegan approved. The Whip, not the Whippets, though I don't see why they would object to the latter.

 
Everything you desribe about it is 100% true.  It's my only must have in the Magic Kingdom.  And I must have several. 

 
Heard this on the local drive time radio for some time now. Also a hyooj draw at the dole place in Hawaii.

Id rather have a beer

 
I wonder if it will be a special surprise, or if it is less special if it does not come from Disney.  Maybe this will make Disney trips less special too if they can get their Disney treat everyday.

 
The line is usually 20-30 minutes if you get it on the Adventureland side. But if you walk around to the Tiki Room side, you can usually get in quick once they load in for the next show.

 
The trick is to stop at BevMo on the way to Disneyland and buy a few airplane bottles of Malibu Coconut Rum to surreptitiously top off your Whip.

Yup.  I laugh when I am getting one and the people in the line around me are saying to each things like, "oh, my sister said I have to try this," or "I don't get it, it's just pineapple juice."

I pity those people in their finite ignorance.  They are just steps away from universal happiness in their ingenstion of this magic potion, yet they have no idea.  It must be how the aliens think of us as they fly by, catch Justin Bieber music, and move on because clearly this planet isn't evolved enough yet.

Have you ever tried to reproduce th experience at home?

 
After doing a bit of research I found that Menchies frozen yogurt has "Dole soft serve pineapple". Would this be the same thing as the whip?

So even investing in the mix, and an ice cream maker I am doomed to fall short of the experience?  What if I serve it in a bowl with a bit of frozen ether evaporating from the bottom and sprinkle it with cocaine?

 
Gotcha, makes sense.

Speaking of pineapple and things first tried in FL, Häagen-Dazs makes a pineapple coconut ice cream....Insanely good.

IT would numb the pain of disappointment I'm sure, but still not the same.  The Disney greatness is pure Dole pineapple juice that I think is flown in the second the pineapples are harvested by virgin girls wearing white, and then pineapple soft serve ice cream in a type of root beer float setup, though the combination of pure virgin pineapple juie mixed with pineapple soft serve with whatever magic Disney adds to it (pixie dust, tears of children lost in Small World, DNA from the girls that they get to be Belle and Jasmin) it just works to complete perfection.

DOLE Whip begins as DOLE Soft Serve dry soft serve mix. It is mixed with water in a mixing bucket and poured in a commercial soft serve machine. The product is dairy-free, gluten-free,cholesterol free, and fat free.[7] In 1997, Kent Precision Foods Group stepped in to license the DOLE Whip.[8]

So I need Hawaiian virgins and Bell and Jasmine if I am going to pull this off and even then I might fall short.  Well, I am willing to try, now that there may be something in this for Daddy.

In a pinch could I substitute Pocahantes for Belle or Jasmine?

Pure Virgin Pineapple Juie is going to be the name of my Don Ho tribute band.

1. Magic Kingdom

2. Polyneisan Resort - which wife booked for a week last week partially for my love 

3.  Disney resort on Hilton Head, which my wife booked for a week last year and we are going back to for a week this year, partially for my love

4.  Hawaiian resort

Well come June 30th you will be able to get them at Chez DW as well.
