**Dolphins at Packers** Thanksgiving Night - 8:20 on NBC (-3, 47) (1 Viewer)

3rd and Goal on the 15 and you try a dump off to Mostert?
You couldn't try to throw the football into the end zone even once on 1st and Goal, 2nd and Goal, 3rd and Goal
Miami settles for a FG

14-3, catch the spirit
I don't understand why they are paying Hill $30M a year to just walk around and clap a lot on the sidelines
Don't you want to involve a guy like him in the offense?
He has completely disappeared

Waddle might want to know where the end zone is when he is running 20 yds to the sidelines inside the opponents' 10 yd line no less
5th overall baby.

Didn’t he not only cost that selection but also another first-round pick? Imagine if they’d packaged and moved up for Chase?
Chase was 5th, Waddle was 6th. Waddle is a very good WR. No shame in not being as good as Chase. Almost nobody is.

Chase could have been ours at 3rd overall. And A lot of us wanted him at 3.

Waddle was an injury/drop prone non alpha. Hell I wanted Devonte Smith over him.

I been shaking my head with this front office for going on 25 years man.

Welcome to Dolphins football.

Sure. My point is, its not like Waddle has been a bad pick, he's been really good. Its not like they took Trey Lance or something.

They were sitting at number 3 and traded down to take Waddle and Phillips.

Thank you. That’s how it went.

"Miami originally had the No. 3 overall pick, but Grier traded down to 12th and then back up to sixth."

Didn’t he cost himself a first-round pick doing that? I seem to recall that.

If you thonk so.

His rookie year he was all we had and he got everything thrown his way.

With Hill on the other side you would think he would be killing it.

He makes a lot of concentration drops in big big key moments…..go watch our wild card game vs the Bills in 2022. Skylar put two deep balls right on his mitts.

Dropped.

And they killed us.

He is an underachiever.

Yes sir he did.

They gave up a 2022 first to get him at six. They could have had Chase. Phillips is hurt all the time.

Bad move by Grier.

IT’S NOT LIKE THEY PICKED ZACH WILSON

That sealed Joe Douglas’s fate. Great defense and that guy. Fields would have been a better pick.

The trade up was bad, I won't disagree with that, I would VERY MUCH disagree that Waddle isn't a good player.

He is good…..but clearly not playing to his draft position at all. That is number 1 alpha territory.

We went and traded for Hill a year later knowing Waddle will never be an Alpha. Yet we paid him.

He drops balls in big moments….all the time.

No idea what Tua was doing there, had 3 guys open and strolled into a sack
He refuses to throw downfield. I saw this the entire game vs Arizona weeks ago. I was there so I can see the whole field.

Guys wide open. He won’t pull the trigger anymore.

I'm with Todem on this, Waddle hasn't been good, he drops easy to catch passes and his rookie year a lot of folks made way too much of his catch total when he was targeted 140x
He also gets injured a lot and dinged up, can't finish games, he's fragile
He cost too much with 2 first round picks to get him

-Remember when Miami stripped it down to the studs and did a rebuild? What do they have to show for it all?

This is what mediocrity purgatory Looks like.

Beat up weak sisters of the poor to accumulate meaningless stats.

When you play real teams you fold like a lawn chair and pick 20th in the draft..

Absolutely ****ing nothing.

Blew Not one, not two but three first rounders in one single draft.

It’s a comedy show my brother.

Love has 47 yds tonight
Packers are already up 14-3 and driving, won't be much in the 2nd Half except to hand off and keep running at Miami
Gonna be a very quiet night for those who might have started him

Zero excuse at home to have false starts. It always blows my mind how these numb nuts forget their snap counts
