Gary Kubiak announced Saturday that running back Domanick Davis has been placed on injured reserve, causing the Texans' returning rushing leader to miss the entire 2006 season.

Lundy is clearly in the better position eventhough I hope its Morency. I drafted Morency before Lundy was named the #1 guy. I think both will have their chances.

I wonder if the Texans will have interest in Suggs or Pinner. Both have proven some effectiveness in the NFL. I'm not sure if Kubiak would consider them one cut material, but I think they both have more talent the other backs currently on the Texans roster.

He was dropped in one of my leagues, and I could have snatched him up, but declined. Hell, I have to drop a couple players to get down to 22 before the season starts anyway. Another owner did pick him up. I might regret that in 2007, but I'll worry about that when the time comes. I'm not sure he's worth picking up at this point, even in a dynasty league. I get the feeling that knee is really bad.

Not even near those...Houston will be a RBBC no doubt.

I was thinking I read somewhere last season that when a player is placed on IR it does not count against their contract. Maybe I'm offbase. That's why I'm asking. Does the player still get paid for the season? Does the year off count against the length of their signed contract.

I am in a League with a small bench, I already have M. Bell and was considering grabbing Lundy, T. Bell is also available, which should I grab ? Tough choice especially not knowing how much morrency will impact the touches.

I have Bell, Lundy, and Morency in one league. I wouldn't trade Morency for the other Bell. Hope that helps.
