Giant homers - Hixon sat out today's practice. Is this Coach Coughlin giving him a day's rest or is he really hurting? Love him as a #3 this week against a very banged up Dallas secondary. He is not getting a ton of love from FBG in the early rankings though.

After that insane drop last week does it matter what his status is. He is Troy Williamson all over again. Not sure that I would trust him at this late stage, healthy or not.

Coughlin said Jacobs is "a little bit better," but offered only that the Giants would "do the smart thing, the thing which is medically recommended" when it comes time to make a decision on Jacobs status for Week 15. Brutal. Not sure I would go that far.

He's been great at every opportunity he's had on the Giants from pre-season on save last week and that terrible drop, although hefollowed it up with some tough catches later in the game.If you want to group him with the likes of Williamson based on one drop, then go to town, I guess.

I think he can have a strong game perhaps being a bit dependent on Jacobs' status and how that may effect the balance of the offense.

Wow, did he cost you a game with that drop or something? One drop doesn't make a career. Hixon has looked very good all year long.

Not to pile on, but Jerry Rice had some of the most brutal drops I've ever seen during his first season. I think he turned out ok....

Roddy White, in 2006, had a drop that was so brutally bad, it made several players and the head coach fall to their knees in disbelief. He had no defender within 20 yards, and Vick practically dropped it into his jersey and he dropped it.

h-u-g-e game possible for Toomer.when the stuff hits the fan and when Eli needs to make plays, he's always looked for Toomer..even with Hixcon in the lineup,I'd expect a big game from Amani this weekend!

I am hoping that it was the wind last week....really hoping. They looked so god awful all around aside from that drop. I think Hixon will have a big game but he will ride the pine for me in my one league.
