With all of the talk about Derrick Ward, has anyone heard any buzz about what will happen to Dominic Rhodes in the off season? He often showed a stronger burst than Addai when given the ball this past year.

Does his age/his failed year in Oakland keep him from being a credible starting RB?

Thought he looked better than Addai as well (which wasn't difficult). I think if the Colts don't bring in someone like Edge back, I think they'd have him back.

it seemed as tho Addai either didn't adapt to the new faces on the OL or he was playing injured. when things are 'right' with him he is still a very very dangerous RB in that offense. the Colts OL(even if they lose saturday) should be stronger this year as the youngsters will be more cohesive and from the depth they built thru necessity last year. i know Marvin is a shell of himself but he still had a decent level of production, addai and dallas clark would seem to get a larger chunk of work from his departure

Over the past 4 years, Rhodes has had a 3.5 ypc and is going to be 30. Doubtful he'll be a difference maker.

I don't think anyone is saying he would be but he's well worth having on the team for a moderate price. Addai they should just let go when his contract expires. edge is basically done and not worth much more than peanuts too. Too bad there isn't a complete back worth drafting high this year, as much as they need defense it could be the move.
