pizza and side bread options for the price

I can only figure most voting for Little Ceasars haven't eaten at either or both of these places in a while. A good assumption as every FBG has the best local pizza joint in the world conveniently located right down the street. Domino's isn't great, but it's gotten a little better over the last couple of years. It's perfectly tolerable and not a huge step below Papa Johns now (and a lot better than Pizza Hut).

Little Ceasar's, on the other hand, is absolutely dreadful. Even at $6 with no wait, it's still not worth it.
This is my hunch as well. In the last few months, I've had each of them for the first time in a long time. In the past, I would have answered Little Caesars, but I was surprised to find Domino's was a little better than I remembered and Little Caesars was much worse than I remembered. Domino's wins.

Oh, I mean I'm too good to even answer this question. How dare you even ask me to choose!
The reason LC has gone way down in quality is because when they reconfigured the franchises to reinvigorate the company (basically pulling it back from the brink) they changed the business model. They no longer make the pizza in the store. They removed all of the extraneous toppings. Now they prepackage the cheapest pie they can in whatever franchise factory they have, seal them, freeze them, and ship them to the franchises. When you walk in to get your hot-n-ready all they did to "make" that pizza was remove the plastic wrap and put it on the conveyor oven. It is a mass produced, cheap, frozen pizza.

That happened after extending Verlander and Cabreras contracts. Have to cut corners somewhere.

We go with marco's most of the time but you know who makes a surprisingly good pizza? Costco.
Goodposting to both of these. Marco's is actually the closest place to us and is pretty good. We don't go to Costco more than once a month but we've frequently bring a pie home with us.

And to answer the pole - I can't bring myself to eat either of these anymore. My recollection is that Dominos is better but it's been many years since I've had either.

"Affluenza" boy should have gone to LC.

But the Couches also gave themselves away, the AP reported. A police report issued by the the Jalisco state prosecutor’s office in Mexico said the Couches used one of their phones to order Domino’s Pizza to their room at a condominium. A U.S. Marshal’s Service agent let Mexican authorities know about the location of the phone Monday, and they were able to track the mother and son down later that evening.

At least they had a good final meal, right?

I would be willing to pay an extra buck instead of cutting more corners. Subway got rid of their 5 dollar footlong because they would be down to just lettuce & bread with some spray on meat juice.

Being from NY, I am lucky to enjoy great pizza, and every place by me is good and im in the suburbs.

When I bought I beach place in ocmd, I understood why people love NY pizza. Been there for a few years and have still not found a good pizza place.

I worked at Dominos for years and don't mind it. Thin crust with bacon is $

I've never seen a Little Cesars let alone eaten from there. Assume this is a regional joint despite seeing the commercials all the time.

I have a place in northern oc. Pickings are slim, for sure. We've bounced from Lombardi's, Grotto's and Ledo's over the years. Even though it's a chain, I probably like Ledo's the best.

Stopped and got a "hot and ready" LC the other night on the way home from work for MNF. It wasn't great, but it was $5.00. Honestly, I would have been fine heating up the $3.99 Red Baron we have in the freezer but didn't want to wait 20 minutes to eat :oldunsure:

That said, it didn't hold a candle to Domino's pan pizza. Don't think anyone else has mentioned it here.... it's actually pretty good, and I'd consider myself a very big fan of pizza. It's $8.99, usually get a 2-liter of Sprite with it and ends up being like $15 with tax/delivery/tip. Usually get it when the wife is out with friends and kids are in bed... pop on a movie... slam half of it, save the rest for lunch the next day or the wife will have a slice when she gets home. Definitely worth the money.

Some places use factory made frozen dough..........then the rumor grew legs from there apparently.

Didn't order Dominos for years. After the rebranding they are pretty good.

Little Ceasers is crap. Only meant to be consumed by children and drunks.

My preferred place is Wolfman Pizza. A local with several locations. Voted best pizza in Charlotte for something like 10 years in a row at one point.

I don't order Papa Johns. Ever. But that's a personal beef.

Disclaimer - I have worked for everyone mentioned in this post. Either in management or driving.
Worked at the Selwyn Ave location for a minute back in high school. The Maui and Mexican pizzas were damn good.

As far as the OP is concerned Dominos > Little Caesars.

Just saw this. Were you the boss that I used to get high with out the back door? That hippie chick that threw dough sure was a sloot.

Haven't had the new Dominos, but Little Caesars is awful. No idea how either of these are such big chains. There are a hundred places both chain and local that are better than both of these.

My guess would be people have opinions that differ from your own. Though I have noticed that is a concept the FFA seems to have trouble with.

Either you're fishing or really gullible then.

I do not think I've had it since they did their rebranding, but this is impressive.

"Domino's Pizza was the fastest-growing major restaurant chain in America in the first quarter of this year, according to a Forbes analysis of publicly-traded food service companies."

Not surprising to me. Dominos is EASILY the best-tasting chain pizza today after they changed their recipe. It destroys Papa John's, Pizza Hut, and Little Caesar's.

Little Caesar's is now just a premade frozen pie. The people at the franchise simply open the plastic packaging and throw it in the conveyor oven. It is literally the same quality of a frozen pizza, because it is a frozen pizza.
Strange. Bought 5 pizzas for work and saw them rolling dough. Looked fresh to me. Bbut I do prefer Domino's now that it has garlic on crust.

I usually don't at work. But its possible. Been trying to remember what year I was there. The wife will probably know I'll ask her later.

Was it an original franchise or one of the new pop-up franchises from the last two years? Original franchises make fresh pizza but there aren't as many around anymore.

Back in the mid 90s. I lived in allen park mi. The dominos in melvindale was the best chain pizza ever. Somehow their sauce was unique. When i would order from there people would comment on how differnt and good it was.

Anyway. Caesars sucks.
