Donnie Edwards or Derrick Johnson (1 Viewer)

At first, I heard Derrick Johnson would move to Weak side and Donnie Edwards woulds play the Strong side. Since KC plays a cover-2, I was expecting a break out season for Johnson. But now, I hear Edwards will actually take the WLB and KC will leave D. Johnson at SAM.

Does anyone have more insight on how this will pan out?

Lot of incorrect speculation about the OLBs in Kansas City this offseason. The Chiefs implied that Edwards would play WLB when he was signed and that's where he lined up in minicamp and the two preseason games I've seen. Johnson's value should remain about the same. Edwards, while he's unlikely to be as productive as he was in San Diego, will remain a very good IDP option.
