Don't look now USC folks, but LenDale is catching Reggie (1 Viewer)

Wow...

Don't look now...... but LenDale is above Reggie in every rushing stat... and only 5 TDs down in total TDs despite missing most of his rookie season. He won't match the receiving stats, but given Reggie out for 4 weeks, he'll get even closer. Throw in Cassel and a few others, and the 2nd stringers on that 2005 Trojan squad is fairing better than some top schools sending their All-Americans.

He won't match the receiving statsdont count the pr tds either.right, dont count the thing reggie does best. seems like a fair way to evaluate them.

Some guy in my league was yucking it up over Bart Scott's comments about "the fastest RB in history vs. 'that fat guy'" as far as who those genius Ravens were gp'ing to stop. I threw out the "wait a minute" flag and said, jeex, wasn't Bush the shiftiest RB in the history of recent college football, and FatDale seemed to be "OK" in that situation too?

colour me surprised that LenDale is actually behind Reggie in career rushing statistics.

Seriously? You're comparing these guys?

The guy puts up a descent 1/2 year of FF and the LandWhale hype is out of control.

Disclaimer: I've never owned either, and I was a BIG fan of LenDale at USC.

Well Bush hasn't put together a solid complete season yet either so.........Oh and LandWhale wasn't pegged as the next coming of Christ and the organizations savior as Bush was either

the whole KC defense should be ashamed of themselves for letting that tub of goo break a 70 yard run on them.

LenDale career stats: 3.8 YPC, 1863 all purpose yards, 15 TD's

Reggie career stats: 3.6 YPC, 3478 all purpose yards, 23 TD's

LenDale scored 57 TD's in 3 years at USC and weighs about 3 tons. I don't think he's sneaking up on anybody. People expected him to be a pretty good power back, but the draft position was the only major difference since Reggie was so electric. I'm not making a case for either guy, but if you want to praise LenDale at least use some facts and logic when comparing the 2. Before this last game, LenDale's stats were practically half of Reggie's

Obviously they are diff players. I do not think White will return TD's or someday lead the NFL in Rec but he is a very good player. The NFL needs them both as well as we fantasy guys do too! PPR which most of the big money events are, Reggie is a BEAST of consistant points.

This is a fun topic!

Bush outproduced LenDale in 2006.

LenDale outproduced Bush in 2007.

Is it really a surprise if LenDale outproduces Bush again?

Exactly. If it weren't for that one run we'd be talking about how Johnson diced them up, and White had a good FF day, because Johnson got them to the goalline.
If it wasn't for Johnson's one run we wouldn't even be talking about Johnson in fantasy terms.
And which run of Johnson's would that be?Even when you take away Johnson's 66 yard TD rush, he'd still be on pace for 1300 rushing yards on the season.

White is on pace for 211.6 FP this year.Johnson is on pace of 224.8 FP this season.
