Downloading Audible Podcasts on Android phone (1 Viewer)

I have a droid phone and have Beyondpod installed as an app. With it I can download the Thursday night Audible podcast, but none of the others during the week. I can access the web site and stream them from the links, but I prefer not to use that option if possible (data charges, dropped signals, etc).

I need my "runafterthecatchability" fix at least 4 times a week.

Does anyone have an idea for better solution?

BeyondPod will allow you to synch feeds in the "Google Reader". Setup a Google account (gmail, etc.) and click on reader. Add the Audible RSS feed, then find the menu in BeyondPod that will allow you to add or synch feeds with Google Reader.

You might also be able to add that link manually, or send it to yourself and cut and paste into BeyondPod, rather than doing the Google Reader synch.

I use DoggCatcher from the Android market. Enter in the RSS feed and it will pull all audible podcasts when you open it up. You can then download and listen.

Doggcatcher. Just search for Footballguys and you get everything.

BeyondPod w/ Google reader worked perfect. Didn't try doggcatcher, but will if i get any other issues.

The FBG App lets me access the podcast links and stream them live, but not download. If i get a hiccup in my signal, i'm back to the beginning and tring to find where i was before the drop.

why not just use the FBG app?

This is one of the only things I find that app useful for. but it quick links you to the audible, and when you click it asks if you wann stream or download. just download and go to the music player app. really easy.

really? on mine it asks if i wanna stream or download. i choose download and then destroy after listening like 007.
