Dr. Gobbler welched out on his bet from year ago in this thread (1 Viewer)

Seriously, this is best $80 I ever spent in my life! You boobs fighting over yourselves to defend a guy you wouldn't pee on if he was on fire but since most of you have adopted your wives propensity for finding anything to ##### about feel the need to nag me. It shows me how pathetic most of your lives are that you would take the time/have the time, to nag me about something that has no effect on you whatsoever. You guys gobbling these nuts for so long, it's no wonder I'm a Dr.
If you'll notice, I liked this post just to un-like.

$80 seems like a small price to pay to out someone as a person who can never be trusted. Thanks to Tim for taking one for the team here.

As an admin, I would think you'd ban this clown. Not only made a bet for all to see, but welched on it. The bannable offense is coming here and admitting to it and taunting the victim. I think that's ten times worse than someone letting a swear word slip through.

then he'll just sign up with a new username and might stiff somebody else in the future. rather let him keep posting as someone who has been outed as a welcher.

thanks for the advice though.

and not banning him will definitely prevent that from happening

id pee on tim's feet before welching on a bet. I try not to make internet bets with people I don't know, however.
I'll bet you I could pee on Tim's feet before you could. Loser has to pee in his ear.

Dr Gobbler might Gobble Docs and be a scumbag, but it's not Rude's place to ban him and police board bets. Get off his case on that, IMO

Not really interested at the present time in receiving bodily fluids from anyone in this forum. Thanks for the kind offers though. If I reconsider I'll let you know.
You couldn't have mentioned this before I started bottling my own blood?

If you're dumb enough to bet random people on the internets you should expect it to happen.

A few times in the shark pool, I made a few bold predictions. Then some random person asked how much I wanted to wager on it. I was like seriously dude? I don't even know you.

I'll bet you $80 it doesn't stop people from continuing to do it.

Why not change the name above his picture from "Footballguy" to "Welcher"? Seems like that would be a nice compromise.

Has anyone mentioned Tim welched on a wager with Rudnicki, but no one started a thread on it?
Pretty sure the bet was cancelled before it ever took place. And even if I have my facts wrong you continue to looks like a huge ##### defending Gobbler. Congrats.

Thanks! But...

I'm not defending anyone. HTH.

The fact that people get their panties waded up over $20 $40 $50 $80 constantly changing dollar amount message board wager is amusing. And parts of this thread are gold. Congrats to you too GB!

I still think Romney has a reasonable chance to win this thing, say around 45%. Therefore, if somebody wants to offer me 2-1 odds, I'll take it.

Good Posting Judge and Aaron Rudnicki- I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel out on our wagers. After giving it some thought, I really don't want to bet on this election. I just don't like the idea of having money on this. If either of you guys want, I will send you $50.00- I'm not trying to go back on my word. But I won't accept any money if Romney wins.
To recap, Tim offered to take bets on a Romney win over Obama in the presidential election given people give Tim 2-1 odds. The wager was then accepted by multiple people immediately. Tim then accepts two of the acceptances of his offer - Rudnicki and Good Posting Judge. Then someone posted the real odds were more like 3-1. Then the next day, Tim comes back and wants out of the wagers he accepted.

I'm no expert on welching, but there is definitely a gray line here that's being peed on.

Note to AAA batteries and others: I'm not defending either party here, only pointing out the facts as they stand.

What's amusing is your inability to keep up with what's going on. You trying to figure the $ amount in question here is akin to MOP ordering a pizza.

I'm amazed that you bothered to dig that up. Your obsession with me continues. I decided the day after, two months before the election, not to make those bets. I offered to pay each guy what I would have lost if I had made those bets. They did not take me up on it, but agreed to cancel. If you think that is even close to welching, or what happened here, then you've got a screw loose somewhere.

You made a bad message board bet, then you backed out a day later.

That pretty much sums it up.

I think the difference is Tim offered to pay. I didn't care enough to make him do that, but I think he made a charity donation for the GPJ side of things.

It's not an issue. I just like to mess with him about it from time to time.

That is correct. I donated $50 to a charity that GPJ chose- I can't even remember now what it was.

Joe T seems to want to equalize the 2 events, simply in order to make me look bad. This is not the first time he has gone digging into my posts from long ago in an effort to embarrass me. It always fails because I am not easily embarrassed. I have made plenty of mistakes here, and when i do so, I acknowledge them.

Joe T seems obsessed with me. Perhaps he is one of those that wants to give me his body fluids. But I am not interested.

Joe T might be obsessed with you but you seem obsessed with posting here, 72k posts? Jesus, do you ever leave the house?

Do your black friends get jealous when you have your Hispanic friends over?
