Draft Dominator (Jon Beason Ranking) question (1 Viewer)

Why is Jon Beason listed at LB 43 by draft dominator?

My scoring system (see below) is skewed toward big plays, but still. Why would Jon Beason be listed at LB43? Am I missing something? I thought I was keeping current with all the updates lately. How can he be part of the 24K gold tier and be so low in the DD rankings of any scoring format?

Defensive Players League Value

Tackle Solo 1

Tackle Assist .5

Sack 5

Interception 4

Fumble Force 2

Fumble Recovery 4

Defensive Touchdown 6

Safety 4

Pass Defended 1

Block Kick 3

I drafted last night and my league starts 4 defensive players (D, D, D, DB). These are the players I got:

Barrett Ruud

DeMacus Ware

DeMeco Ryans

D.J. Williams

Quintin Mikell

Should I drop one of these guys and pick up Beason who is still available?

The Dominator uses John Norton's projections as a default. It looks like John dropped Beason's tackle expectation to 87 solos with the news of his MCL injury, likely due to the uncertainty over how many games he might play during the first month of the season. On a per game basis, I doubt Beason would have dropped nearly that much. Norton's also not projecting Beason for any sacks, which hurts him in your scoring system. If you think Beason returns to full health and form by Week 3, he's still part of the elite tier, which would be somewhat deeper in your scoring system for me (certainly would include Harrison and possibly Ware as well).
