Draft Kings vs. Fan Duel--Which One? (1 Viewer)

I am going to join one. Leaning FD but will go DK if there's a strong argument.

Not looking for referral codes.

FD just seems to work better for me.

I wonder though...as you go up in entry fee...does the competition get tougher?

Meaning...is it better to enter six $50 50/50 contests where there's more riff raff or one $300 50/50 where I'd think the players are more learned and serious.

No idea. I just joined FD and signed up for their one of their rookie contests.

I was looking at some of Assani's results, and he enters everything. $1, $2, $5 h2h's. It's not like poker where you can't play high and low stakes simultaneously.

Assani thinks he has a bigger edge here than poker? WTF

I do a little of the same. Lot of $1. $2 & $5 entries...contests and 50/50's mostly. Started with $50 and now up to $300.

So I've had great luck staying small...just wondering if it's better to stay small and just have more entries.

I think I'll stay that route.

I opened a DK account after being on FD for over a year now. Interface is much better on FD, although DK does have neat little features like the ranking of the defense a particular player is going up against (based on fantasy points given up to date).

Big difference, though... DK adds a flex, takes away kicker. FD is QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/PK/DEF.

I seem to like FD a bit more.

via his first 'DFS vlog', he said he slowly bled out as the games got tougher.

Did you miss the part where he has hit for over $100K in DFS?

no I didn't. what's that got to do with him losing his roll in poker? someone asked why he would give up poker to play DFS, so I answered.

I'm not bashing him in any way, I'm just stating facts that came straight from his own vlog. I know he is winning in DFS. I think that's great. I merely answered a question.

My season long team is awful this year, so I took a $25 plunge on fan duel with the $25 match, just gonna play $5 a week, jumped on a link from one of the fbg emails from joe... Figured what the heck, been a miserable year so wa just looking for a very mild distraction ..

How fast does the deposit bonus become real cash?

Gradually releasing bonuses as you play prevents fraud and discourages multi-accounting. Deposit bonus is released as real cash at a rate of 4% of the entry fee of the contest you enter. For example, if you enter a $25 contest, $1 of deposit bonus will be released into your main funds account. Users collect deposit bonus upon settlement of the contest entered. If a contest or entry is canceled, your entry fee will be refunded and no bonuses will be earned.

I put a paltry $100 in and am getting about 40 cents a weekend in credits toward my deposit bonus.

no offense

I prefer DK because I like having a flex over the randomness of a kicker on FD. However, I'm annoyed with how slow the bonus clears on DK. I might get $2 by the end of the year.

We had an extra $96 in our kitty this year so we are letting last year's SB champ bet with it on FanDuel and use whatever he wins to help pay for the end-of-season meeting.

So far I think he is down $20 so we might be having the party at MickeyD's.

Have to say - that is impressive.
I know he said in golf that he just tried it without knowing anything about it and basically got lucky.

I assume that he has some statistical analysis program he uses to optimize NFL lineups. I don't think he has a background as a math guy but he probably knows plenty from poker.

Never been there. Might never go there.
please let me know if you post any H2Hs.
Because you're a fantasy animal. A shark among guppies. You inspire fear with your bankroll.

 wtf is wrong with some people

let's get a weekly FFA game going on DK or FD. would prefer to setup a free game and then settle up via paypal so we don't pay rake. thoughts?

I'd be interested. I only have a DK account so that would be preferred. I think the only problem is that you have a certain amount of teams though...like you couldn't just have 17 teams or some random number

Maybe FD is more friendly

yea I think we could just set it for 15 or 25 or whatever and then send out invites and have it be first come first serve.

Should scoresman be eligible? I hear he's pretty much a pro.
