Draft Software (1 Viewer)

I run a couple of local leagues that do live, in person drafts. We have always used paper but I have always been on the lookout for software I can load on a laptop and use.

Recently someone mentioned Fan Draft and I found it very interesting. Can anyone tell me their experiences with it, pro and con?

Also, anyone have any other software packages that I might find useful?

DD?I thought he was just looking for a draft/enter picks and everyone looks over his shoulder type program.

Original poster, not sure what your plan is but Joe B does some draft boards here and they seem pretty awesome for a cheap price. Not a program but might be of interest to you

Maybe. I didn't think anyone ran a league by hand anymore and wireless access is everywhere so assumed who ever hosted his site he could enter it real-time...

This isn't to run the league but to run a draft only. I want a stand alone program to load on my laptop. Don't what to do it online.

so you'll enterteam 1 picks player A, team 2 picks player B etc? Maybe put your laptop on a projector or somesuch for the league to see? Please clarify some

It operates just like you do when you draft online. You set up the draft order, start the draft with a timer. Each team selects their player from a list of players and it put that player on the team's roster and the next team in now on the clock. The only difference is that this is not done online. If you aren't sure you can go to www.fandraft.com. I like it but I want to know what else is out there.

FLM from sideline software(Myfantasy league's sister site/program)

ETA people here could probably walk ya thru how to try the program out. It's quite popular

One of the owners in our league owns the bar that we draft at. No internet access. We used FLM and a projector for the first time last year and it worked out pretty well. My suggestion is that you find someone to run it for you. I found it difficult in the later rounds when we had 1 minute a pick and I run my own draft and the laptop for the draft.

We have used FanDraft for the last 3 years. Pretty sweet. Pipe it up onto the big screen at your draft. Works like a gem.www.fandraft.com

You can use the Draft Dominator for this - get it in the tools section on this site. I've used it for a couple of years now, and it's great!

If true I think we need to holler at Bruce Hendseron and ask him to make a stripped down version to do this. IE one to map out your draft personally, and one for the league to see/use
