Does anyone here use any kind of spreadsheet or come up with there own formulas for creating their own rankings? I have one myself and love working on it leading up to the season's draft. I'm curious if anyone does the same thing.
I've had an amazing spreadsheet that I got from another member on this site a few years ago. I'm not very good at figuring in formulas or anything like that but I do enjoy filling in the information once the template is set up. All I have to do each year is input my projected stats for the year and it automatically figures out what their fantasy points will be based on my leagues scoring settings and also determines their auction value based on my leagues settings.
My league is different than most because we do not use the money we have to draft our full team but instead just the first ten. We have $100 to fill ten roster spots then we do a snake draft to fill in the remaining six roster spots. This makes it a little more difficult figuring out auction values because my league is so different than most but with the spreadsheet I have been able to make the appropriate adjustments and it's been very impressive how accurate the auction values are. When I compared my projections to how the actual draft went the majority of players are went +/-2 dollars.
I love fine tuning my spreadsheet leading up to the season. Makes me feel like I have a huge advantage over the rest of the league.
