Draft Strategy? (1 Viewer)

I have the last pick in the first round, Serpentine draft

What strategy should I go into this draft with? Ive never been this far down in the first round, and Ive never been in a 16 team league. I would like to do RB+WR back to back, but I will most likely not see another quality RB. Does anyone with experience drafting this late have any information that might help me

Just realized I clicked the wrong forum, Mods please feel free to move or delete this for me

I think you need more than 1 plan. Mock out the likely scenario and see what's there for you. If there's a good RB or 2 then make a move on them. Look for absolute value. Getting at least 1 RB should be a top priority.

Another possibility is to consider making a trade to add more picks early in the draft. Trading out of round 1 and picking up an extra 2 is something to consider if you don't like the value that's there.

Plan for several scenarios and be flexible and you can still do well.

I like to trade back when I draft that late, as a matter of fact, possibly trading back multiple times. But I don't drop so far that I move beyond the bottom of a tier.

That being said, I don't like to be overly rigid as far as specific strategies, because I think it limits me too much.

In a non PPR, I would definitely make sure one of the first two picks is a RB. If I really like 2, then I would take 2, if not, I usually take a stud WR or trade back.

Trading back would be my #1 option, with hope of moving up in round 3, among other things.
