Drafting 12th/13th (1 Viewer)

I am drafting 12th in a 12 team league. Unless somebody takes Peyton Manning in round 1, I am probably looking at Willie McGahee at 12. With the very next pick at 13 overall, should I take Willie Parker or is that too high for him? I have a good feeling about him this year but I don't want to be laughed at by my leaguemates.

I'll answer this generally, but go ahead and read the drafting from the 12th slot thread contained in this thread

If you don't think a player will make it back to the end of the 3rd then you can take him at 12/13.

If FWP ends up with 1400 and 12 TDs would you be asking that?

FF is a futures market..if you like him alot..he won`t be there when it gets back to you. The RBs after the Big three are a crap shoot.

FWP could easily surpass RBs drafted higher than him.

I took Cadillac at 12 and Parker at 13 and haven't second guessed it yet. In a shark league you can bet large wads of cash he's gone in the 2nd round.

I draft 9th in a 10 team league and I'm seriously thinking about taking FWP at 2.02. I could care less what my league mates think. I'm concerned about drafting the best player available and I think he may be that. He certainly won't be there for me at 3.09.
