Tyrod is 5300. Will almost certainly be my cash qb

Jeffery is still super cheap. Not sure who to roster for cash him or Langford.

Woods is an option if Watkins out again. Not sure his price but can't be a lot.

Jets D is 3100 at home after an ### kicking. I'm all over that.

Curious on your thoughts on this. I usually go more $ on my cash Qbs, but was considering something different this week. I saw Tyrod, but didn't know if the division games were harder fought, Mia looking a bit better, etc.. I was leaning towards Cutler for $5200 in what might likely turn into a shootout Monday night.

I don't like spending up at QB for cash. Usually lots of value low and the price difference is huge.

Tyrod has scored 16,29,24,15,23 in his games. Dolphins lost Wake and have been dreadful in every game that isn't against the AFC South.

Using him allows you to easily pay up for Julio or OBJ who again have great matchups.

I typically go low to mid range on QBs, rarely use the top priced guys. This week with saving elsewhere I may use Brady in one cash lineups. In the other cash lineups I'm looking cheaper with Cutler and Carr maybe Winston. Taylor is interesting but I like the other cheap options better this week but I may be wrong.

some options I like

QB - Dalton,Carr, Cutler, may roll Cousins in the .25 arcades

RB -Langford, DeAngelo, Hillman

WR - Evans and Jeffery are still cheap,

TE - Watson at 4k and Reed at 4.5K - wonder if NEpats sell out to stop him though

D - Saints at 2200 at home, Tennesse fired their coach, and no Wright, also like ATL and Minny

despite whiffing on people like Bell, L.Green and Forsett his past week, I still won back what I put in this week plus a little.

First crack.

I'm feeling really good about this one.

Cutler

Freeman

CJ Anderson

A Brown

ODBJ

Watson

Crabtree

Falcons

Threw a few bucks into DK to catch a bonus. No clue about its nuances. I'm pushing all-in on beginners contests this week. Any insight from DK vets? I've been active on FD for more than a year so I get general concepts but am clueless on the differences in approach, if any.

Haven't quite seen this much of a difference before - threw in a couple ideas for gpps I had, and there is about a 40pt difference. MT likes it to the tune of 122, and Bloom has it around 161. :oldunsure:

First lineup, but I like it:

Tyrod

Freeman

McFadden

Antonio

Jeffrey

Demaryius

Gates

Stevie Johnson

Saints

50/50 Let me know what you think

Brady

Freeman

Ingram

Jeffery

Crabtree

Stevie

Miller

Ivory

Jets D
I like it. Very close to the lineups I was coming up with.

My Brady cash lineup ended up being:

Brady

Ingram

Ivory

Jeffery

D.Thomas

Stevie

Walker

McFadden

Denver

I've got some similar players but I swapped brady/Freeman for Rivers/Gurley and then upgraded my WR's.

Love Miller at TE. He doesn't need much at 2700.

I have been using Miller, Saints, and Stevie at flex. Allows the rest of your roster to be very strong. Especially if you use Rivers or Big Ben.

Sitting right outside the money with every lineup having at least 2 left to play. As long as Cutler, Alshon, Gates and Johnson don't all crap the bed, I should turn in a real decent week.

Scored 166.22 points, didn't place. I hate Draft Kings.
Some heavy owned players exploded cutlines are high on both sites this week for cash. Going to get even higher if Alshon, Stevie, Rivers or Gates goes nuts tonight

In what type of contest?
Rookie double up.
I didn't even think about how high this was earlier. 166 should be cashing.

I just looked at mine (164) and I'm cashing in every double up and triple up. Seems like just bad luck on the contest. How big was it?
40 people. I'm #22 but I'm done. Seems like I just have bad luck at DK in general.

Yeah, that seems odd. Seems like the cutoffs in my cash games (15 $1 ones) are in the low 140s now - granted, I assume a lot of people still have Jeffery, Rivers, Gates, and Stevie playing tonight so I guess cutoffs in the 160s might not be that odd this week.

ughhh... not a bad week in points but 169,06 still wasn't enough to win my H2H's, double ups and 50/50s WHAT????

Yeah, I will echo the above posts. Thought I was going to have a good week with Jeffery and Steve J in all my cash games tonight. Looks like the low 180s was what the cut off was for the double ups I was in. I had 3 cash LUs going, and the only one that made $ was the one that scored 183.74. My 172pt lineup was about 30-40 spots away from the $, and my 158pt LU wasn't even close.

Also, I am really thinking that too much is made of low ownership % for these gpps. I know it is small anecdotal sample size, but it seems like every time I look at the top 10 rosters it is a lot of chalk with 1 low ownership guy mixed in. It is not like I am looking at the LUs and thinking they are out of left field. About the "oddest" guys I saw on the rosters were guys like Mariota and Langford. Maybe the higher $ entries are different?

2nd straight losing after 6 winning weeks but at least this one wasn't as bad as last week. Looking to turn it around this week and forget the last two.

I'm 2/27 over the past two weeks.

7 games - 171

10 games 168

7 games 161

3 games 148

Am I just catching some bad luck, or is it time to readjust expectations of what a winning score looks like? Do I really need to be 175-185 to win double ups and 50/50s moving forward?

put up my highest score ever, it was good enough for 1,362 in the .25 arcade. 228.08.

Brees

Ivory

Langford

A.brown

Evans

Alshon

Watson

Crabtree

Saints D - OUCH

won $3!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Did decent on a Sun night - Mon cross over, won $20 on $5. I like these kinds of contests.

Had a good week, with a 47% ROI.

Apparently I'm way better at GPP lineups than Cash. I love quintuple ups and 10Xs. Here are my totals through 9 weeks of the season, with an initial $25 investment.

I'm awful for some reason at picking the TE position. I usually have 2 or 3 guys who I think should have great weeks, but they usually are just okay. I guess I should diversify with TEs more each week, as they seem to be harder to predict (or harder for me to predict).

TE is so hit or miss every week.... for example.. Walker has an average day if not for lucking up on a few tipped balls.

What $ amount/size of double ups are you in? I think over the last 3 weeks I am winning about 75% of my double ups with scores in the 150-160s. I just do several single entry $1 contests though.

The bigger the double up. The better

I just stick to as big of ones I can find that have single entry. I am not a fan of others being able to drop 40-50 entries into a contest.

that doesn't bother me in 50/50. Im sure the big fish do it, but I find the 50/50s kinda soft, and a little boring

Mostly $5-$10 games and all over 100 single entries.

A few weeks ago, one of the huge $1 double ups took 180+ to hit bc it was so top heavy. There were about 20 guys with 10-20 of the exact same entries scoring over 200. Multi entry seems a bad idea these days.
