I think Drew Bennett ends up coming back to California.

San Diego would be a great fit for him, along side

of Vincent Jackson. It would provide a nice 1-2 punch

at WR, plus Bennett could take the kid under his wing.

I also think the best fit may be San Francisco.

Alex Smith needs a WR he can depend on.

It will also take the pressure off the running game.

Why Philly (from your list)? That's not really their style, right? If they were dipping in the free agent market for a WR, wouldn't it be much more likely they'd just hang on to Stallworth?

Bennett could stay in Tennessee, but he is a UFA.

Bennett might not be considered a special wide receiver in NFL circles, but the UCLA product has great size and good hands as a second receiving option. An uncanny connection with quarterback Billy Volek in 2004 helped Bennett to 1,247 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. With Vince Young being named the starter, production was up and down for Bennett, but he managed to reach triple-digit receiving yards in three different games, and totaled 737 yards with three scores. The Titans are closer to competing than previously though, it appears, but Bennett may look for work in a system focused more on the pass and with a chance to seriously compete sooner. Several teams could use Bennett to compliment a smaller and faster receiver, and if used properly, Bennett can put up strong numbers once again.

I would love to see him come to Minnesota. They would also need something else so Drew isn't the only receivng option. I think he would fit well in Childress' offense. However, he would probably be looking at another second year QB who likes to run...
