Julio is done for the year, Roddy is at less than 100%, the running game seems to be off track and the defense is giving up points. This team will likely need to continue tossing the rock the rest of the season and someone will have to step up and earn some targets, right?

So I'm asking - anyone have any scouting reports or insight into Atlanta's current young backup receivers, Drew Davis and Kevin Cone? Anyone anticipate either one of these guys earning a legitimate WR3 (or higher) status? Why or why not?

I know nothing about these guys - just that they are on the depth chart directly behind Julio Jones and Roddy White.

Yes, I am highly interested in this as well as I play in deep leagues where guys like this have value. I know next to nothing about these two guys.

I haven't missed a Falcons game in over 10 years (I think that's when I purchased Direct TV for first time? I don't know exactly) and I know pretty much NOTHING about these two guys. They rarely see the field.

It's anyone's guess. I'm just hoping one of them can step up and surprise us a little bit and actually contribute. I highly doubt they will have much value in normal leagues.

I am interested too, I have an open roster spot. The good news for us in the Shark Pool is that they are on a bye week. So we have a whole week for some Falcon homers to chime in and let us know which receiver is getting the most reps in practice.

No rumors of a veteran being or two being brought in to at least workout? With a bye week it was probably a great time to try and sign someone and get them familiar with the system. Especially with this team being in win-now mode.

In all seriousness, Smith stated that they'd look into running more two TE sets now and Toilolo was already seeing RZ targets. Maybe he'll get some work in between the 20's now, who knows.

The fact they signed Brian Robiskie is pretty telling how they feel about Cone & Davis.

In the deepest of leagues I'm in I may give Robiskie a look. He has size and athleticism, just a big disapointment thus far.
