Drinen's Custom 250+ list? (1 Viewer)

Eph

I understand it changes every week, but there doesn't seem to be a way to view LAST week's version, like the one that was posted this past Saturday night.

Am I missing something on how to get to it?

Sure would be useful to have access to the most current at all times...

Thanks,

Eph

I was just thinking the same thing. My waivers are due tonight and I use that list to help me decide who to drop. I'd prefer the revised version, but access to last week's thoughts would be nice until that happens.

Go to the main page, at the top, there are numbers corresponding to each week of the NFL season. Choose week 7 (or any previous week), and you will be able to find and use the previous week's top 250 forward

I tried that earlier, but it kept defaulting back to the current week for the top 250 function. I'll check again, but that is what I had hoped would do the trick before...Edit to say it is working for week 8 now, and accesses it even when you enter from week 7. Looks like it defaults t only the current version

Yeah - that's what I was doing as well. It wasn't working before. For some reason, it is working now.

it's working because his current one is up.

This will go back down starting tuesday I think.

I've had this issue before and wish they would leave the prior one out there as well

Every week I check this list, and every week I wonder how anyone can find this useful.

Ricky Williams is RB#26. Why isn't this updated?

In my league last year, the 26th RB scored 85.2 Points.

In my league this year, Ricky is RB#5 (using PPG to account for BYEs) with 57.6 points.

That means Ricky is projected to get 27.6 points in his remaining 10 games (2.76 PPG).

That's about 390 yards and 2 TDs the rest of the season (in my league's scoring) or 39 TOTAL yards per game, and 1 TD every 5 games, the rest of the way.

That's preposterous.

And I only notice Ricky because I own him...I'm sure there are others.

Can anyone explain how we get these numbers?

Even looking at his remaining schedule, where are these great run defenses that are going to stop him all of the sudden?

08. at Jets

09. at Patriots

10. vs Buccaneers

11. at Panthers

12. at Bills

13. vs Patriots

14. at Jaguars

15. at Titans

16. vs Texans

17. vs Steelers

Don't get me wrong...I love a lot of the stuff in MyFBG, but the top 200 is useless to me.

:lmao: If they aren't going to archive the 250+ lists from earlier weeks they should at least have the most current one available until it's revised. All they have to do is put a revision date at the top.Are you listening FBG?

Not sure how to respond to this, except to note that there is a column that indicates how many fantasy points Ricky is expected to get for the rest of the year. For a standard league, it currently says 104.7. That's about 75 yards and .5 TDs per game. Doesn't seem that crazy to me :goodposting:Edit to add: in the preseason projections, Ricky was RB47 in standard scoring. Now he's RB 26. You may think that's too low, but it doesn't seem "preposterous" to me.

I hear you, but I'm looking at this list, and using FBG standard scoring, Ricky is RB#10 right now.I just don't see 16 backs suddenly being better than him the rest of the way given (a) how he is currently performing and (b) their remaining schedule. It feels like he's being ranked and how he should be performing and ignoring how well he is currently playing and being used.Time will tell I guess.

Yes!The custom top 250 now has a "week" pulldown menu, so you can access any of the old ones. Give it a whirl.
Thanks, Doug, that's very helpful. Since the custom set automatically pulls in the free agent list from MFL, this helps a lot in planning trades or free agency moves. I like that the list is less dynamic than the weekly projections, players do not move as far based on a one week breakout. When Thurs games start up in a few weeks, most of us have shorter deadlines to address free agency. Could it be possible to accelerate this to Wed am?

Thanks again!

What I would like to see would be a subscriber item that gets released with the Top 250 that describes the thought process behind the decisions that are made. I can't imagine that there are that many players that get major adjustments week to week and this would be doable.I have to think that the way Doug does this is player X will get Y% of the rushing/rec yards and Z% of the TDs (potentially each week). The program uses expected team points to give a production amount. If those numbers change more than slightly or there is an injury/suspension that might impact players a quick note on why or why not. I often find myself wondering if player X's recent play has been considered. I might disagree with DD but it would be nice to see, "Player X has had a couple of good weeks but I expect him to fall back to his norm." Or, does the current T250 reflect the injury to so-and-so (does DD think it is short-term/long-term).Even better would be the ability to adjust the numbers (percents) myself in the Lineup Dominator. I use that frequently to make add/drop decisions and look forward to future weeks. Thanks for the work on it Doug!
