I just started playing FF again (last played in 2009) so weight my advice based on that ;)

I think it depends on your league and what needs other teams have and how active they are on the WW. If a good number of teams are carrying 9as an example) two TE's, and your bench TE, or one of your WR's is generally not a step up for anyone, than I would drop a player and add a defense. Keep in mind, those other teams would have to drop someone too, and they might not be willing to. You could then go back and get your player back next week, or if you feel their are other players on the WW equal to the player you dropped grab someone else.

I did that this week. I have the Eagles DEF and dropped my backup TE Delanie Walker (Jordan Reed is my starter). I thought it might be risky, as there may be a week once Walker is in better health. If I can't get him back I'll look for another TE based on matchup to cover Jordan Reeds bye week (hopefully). Although, the difference I guess I am in a 10 team league so the WW may have more to choose from, and half the teams or more have only one TE on their roster.

My two cents, I don't know if that helped.

You said share a link,. I did recently post this: https://forums.footballguys.com/forum/topic/749017-wdis-d-thomas-or-t-pryor/

Good luck!

Thanks for the response.  12 team league and the WW is slim pickings especially at RB and TE.  I'm actually thinking about dropping Cousins.  Tanny, Fitz, and A. Smith are all available.  I don't see Cousins as that much of an upgrade over any of these WW QB's.

Don't take the zero!  I have the Eagles and dropped Mariotta for the Bengals, and they got me 21 points.  Cousins is a good choice, because you'd only be playing him when Brees has a bye.  There are QB streamers you can get for that game.  I also don't think you need Powell or Tate.  You have a lot of solid WRs, and I doubt her ever makes your line up honestly.

Drop Powell, I don't see him making it into your lineup, plus he has the same bye as CJ, so you may end up dumping him anyway.
