Drop Decker for Jaguars DST WHIR (1 Viewer)

Right now I'm streaming defense and put in Cincinnati DEF for week 2 against Houston.

Last year, I used the Minnesota Def and they helped me out to week 5 and then they fell back to earth. The Jags have a great schedule and Bloom is hyping them up.... Should I drop Decker or Cincinnati and get the Jaguars?

Standard League

QB - J.Winston, M.Stafford

WR - K.Allen, D.Parker, C.Davis, E.Decker, K. Gollaway

RB - D.Freeman, D.Murray, D.Henry, T.Coleman, T.Cohen

TE - Kelce

Def - Cincinnati (streaming)

I'm not sure I would ever drop a position player for a defense, especially if you are considering hanging on to two defenses. I would stick to Cincinnati this week and then they get Burfict back after Week 3. Maybe you can drop Decker after this week if he doesn't show anything further. I can't imagine people will be rushing to waivers to pick him up if you did drop him for the Jaguars D though so if you're willing to take that chance, I don't think it's the end of the world. You have thin depth at WR - granted there is upside - and so that's why I would still hang on to Decker to see how he is used when the Tennessee offense gets rolling.

I would hang onto Decker unless he gets hurt. Even though he didn't have a great stat line lead the team in snaps. The guy was a borderline stud receiver who missed an entire year and is with a new team. He very well may not be the same player he was pre injury, but I'd be patient and see if he rounds into form and is able to gel with Mariota. He hardly played this preseason, so I'd expect it to take a few games to see if it happens. D's are fluky and there usual is a decent streaming option available every week.
