Drop Den CJ or Booker for J. Rodgers? (1 Viewer)

My opponent this week has D. Martin who looks questionable to play --this move would be solely to block him  -- his other RB is Gore with a tough Jax matchup --

My concern is he plugs Booker or CJ in and they go off ---

I'm in a must win situation for playoffs

Show us the rest of your team, maybe there is someone else you can drop. Can you totally block him? Are there other RB's he can pick up as a 1 week start? What other RB's are available for him? Rodgers may not even be his best choice.

thanks -- My Team: Wentz (Big Ben), J. Howard, D. Lewis, D. Henry,[ Booker, CJ,] Crabtree, Tyreek, R.Anderson, V. Davis --- Ravens and Chargers

Top RB transactions currently: A. Jones, J. Rodgers, Ekeler, R. Smith, Woodhead, R. Davis, Blount and Duke

This is non PPR ---

With Ekelar, Smith, Woodhead, Blount and Duke available he will be able to plug in someone with a better match up than what Rodgers has anyway. Out of all those guys I'd probably be more worried about Woodhead or Johnson than Rodgers. You should pray he picks up Rodgers....

Also, no need to carry two defenses. Drop one for either Johnson or Woodhead.

That is pretty bush league in my opinion. If you think you'd rather have Rodgers than someone else fine, but the idea of blocking another owner is lame.

Interesting and noted.  So lets say you get info on D. Murray injury /issue that keeps him out a game or more and D. Henry is on waivers -- how long do you wait to grab him? or from what you are saying, you totally avoid and assume others will too for the owner to make the proper move.

yeah --good points--I'll probably sit tight -- re defenses --I typically agree and will likely drop Bolts after this week -- maybe  ---
