I should have clarified, I'm looking at this from an ROS perspective, Goodwin paired with Garropolo.
If you're just looking for an option down the road then sure, give Goodwin a shot. Shanahan has already said that there's no guarantee Garropolo plays this year though, and most talking heads I've seen said the earliest they could see him was Week 12, but that's vs Seattle, so that pairing may not be usable until the fantasy playoffs.
