I have Sunday ticket, and interested in getting some sort of projector to watch games in my back yard. Does the wireless genie for DTV connect to a projector?

I would think if the Genie can attach to a TV via an HDMI and your projector is HDMI also, then you are set.

As long as the projector had hdmi input and is "HDCP Compliant" (most, if not all projectors anymore are), then yes.
