A Rolle - ArzvsPacman Jones - TennI was leaning toward Pacman due to his poss KR capabilities but the early/nagging injuries have me concerned.Looking for thoughts on who migth be best short and long term.
Does your league mandate that you start CBs (as opposed to DBs). Because neither CB is likely to be much of a fantasy option - you're much better off drafting one of the safeties.

Not sure I agree with this. CB's in cover 2 schemes have been climbing the scoring ranks, and there weren't a whole lot of draftable safeties this year. CB's in a 46 will rack up points too. Jones, Rolle and Carlos Rodgers (Rogers?) will all be starters. Davis may be an LB, so only Poole has a shot at starting as a S this year. I was squarley in the SS/FS camp not so long ago, but am rethinking that philosophy now.

Good points here, but there really aren't that many high-scoring CBs. You've got Ronde Barber, Antoine Winfield, both Buffalo CBs, maybe Sheldon Brown, and recently Trufant and Dunta Robinson. If you've got one of those, great. But most other CBs are pretty low-scoring and pretty erratic when they do score. At least with safeties you know you're going to get a solid number of points every game. With a CB you'll get nothing for several games in a row then the occasional huge multi-INT game.
cover two CBs as a rule are a good place to look... jerametrius butler had a great season, nick harper did in '03, & i expect peanut tillman and marlin jackson to do well this season.since you have to start 2 CBs, i agree with bloom that rolle is easy call... titans scheme hasn't generated big scores from guys like the other rolle (samari) & dyson in recent years... they play a lot of man-to-man.i heard the cards are going to play a lot of zone, and with rolle's (antrell) physical, aggressive tackling skills, he could be this years dunta robinson... doesn't run a 4.3 & only 5 career INTs at miami... but he did run a 4.4 and his polished open field tackling skills could help him push for 80 solos & possible top 10-20 DB status.davis is probably the only DB i like better this season... also very high on jackson, rogers & atogwe... not so much on pacman & pool (in '05... stud in dynasty).
Rolle is the better athlete with CB skills, but Jones is known as a good tackler similar to Antione Winfield. Rolle is more of a shutdown guy and defenses may shy away from him if he shows his skills early.Jones' draft stock was bumped up because of his special teams ability not because he is a true shutdown corner. If choosing between those 2, I would choose Jones, but I also like Jackson alot because he has a favorable scheme and is not a shut down corner.
