Dumb Dumb Decimal scoring question (1 Viewer)

This is so dumb - I can't believe I'm asking it but it's bugging the crap out of me.

After 18 years - I convinced my league to switch. So far loving it.

Here is my basic question.

Scoring is .1 per yard = 10 yards = 1.0 pts.

Passing is .05 per yard = 20 yards = 1 pts.

Do you guys round the final scores to the tenth ? :bag:

I'm 99% sure that it would be dumb to do that but I want to make sure I'm not missing something....

That's ok. I have a league that only uses full points for regular scoring. But in ties, then they revert to decimal scoring. I think it's odd because many close games would have had OPPOSITE outcomes had they used the decimal scoring in the first place. Seems like an odd way to resolve a tie, but so be it. IMO, they should just go with decimal scoring in the first place.

most all leagues (MFL,RTS,STATS etc) round to two decimal spots ......so as an example Roethlisberger had 19.65 yesterday ........ so it's pretty unlikley to have a tie when all the players have .00 to .99 and are then added - BUT if that happens it would be a tie

I think that's where I over thought it. The way our scoring is setup the second decimal (hundredths) is only going to be a 0 or 5.
