Dustin Keller? (1 Viewer)

What are your guys thoughts going forward? He's my starting tightend and is absolutely killing me. The only waiver wire tight end worth rostering is Tony Scheffler but he is on a bye week. For some reason, multiple teams have backup tightends, so i would be forced into trading for one.

I'm thinking about trying to trade Sidney Rice straight up for Vernon Davis but was wondering what you guys think about Keller first.

With Kris Jenkins out, I could see the Jets being behind in alot more games this year and will need to air it out more often. I guess there is some hope, barring another abysmal performance by Sanchez.

Thoughts?

Keller isn't struggling, Sanchez is struggling. Watching several of the Jets games this year, the targets that Keller is getting tend to be "of the mark". Sanchez just hasn't displayed very good accuracy yet this year. He's shown flashes of it but not consistency.

keller is struggling, in all facets of the game. No, Sanchez has not been hitting him in the numbers. But Keller has failed to adjust to several very catchable balls. He also gave up on a ball in the Miami game, leading to an intentional grounding call.

Keller also had 2 or 3 bad false start penalties that really cost the jets. He looks like he's sleep walking out there right now.

It is a combination of QB/TE both struggling as well as Rex pulling in his horns and going conservative with a quality running game. I applied the "4-game" rule and dumped him after the last pathetic effort. Luckily Zach Miller was there but I would have traded a good WR for a quality TE rather than risk continued non-production.
