Dwayne Bowe Injury News (1 Viewer)

I'm hopeful he'll play as I need him too, but I don't see it happening, especially considering they are playing the Giants. Actually the more I think about it I'd just as soon he doesn't play. If he tore the hammy or made it worse he'd be out a lot longer. They most likely aren't going to win with him anyway so why risk worsening the injury in what could very well be a blow-out loss?

NYG vs KC! Shouldn't we be looking for alternatives anyway? They gonna run the clock all day on KC.

Really shocked he didn't play last week. Went to the Bills game so I plugged him in and left. Barely won but can't afford that 0!

From Kent Babb, Chiefs reporter for the Kansas City Star (via twitter):

Dwayne Bowe has returned to practice. The stationary bike is lonely on this Thursday morning, maybe for the first time this season.

 Please don't reinjure yourself coming back too soon.

Good news...let's hope he can stay healthy until Sunday. I'm playing my brother in law this weekend. If I lose, I'll never hear the end of it.

wasnt considering Bowe this week regardless. Me's a liking Sims-Walker from my team.
Same boat as you here ... though I think that come second half of the season, once Cassel settles in, and Bowe gets to 100%, he (Bowe) will be absolutely huge with the numbers. Can see KC airing it right the hell out in just about every game.Regardless, great to see DBowe shakin' it off, and priming himself for a nice season :goodposting:

I'm not playing Bowe this weekend if he plays. The Giants are #1 against the pass, and I think if Bowe does play, they will ease him in slowly. Haley has said they are being careful with Bowe, because they don't want him to reinjure that hamstring and it linger. When he is at 100%, I'll put him back into my lineup. I hope he is about ready to return completely healthy. He is a great player.
