Dyansty Rookie Drafts...what are the top 4 picks worth? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone seen any trades involving the top 4 picks in their Dyanasty Rookie Drafts?

We have a Rookie/Free Agent Draft coming up and I am hoping to get into the top 4 picks to grab a Spiller/Best. I assume Dez and Matthews will go 1/2.

What are you having to give to get there? I have the 1.09 in a 10 team draft for a PPR Dynasty League, so probably looking for getting the 1.03 or 1.04 outright or swapping 1st round picks.

Not to be too obvious, but is Brady for the 1.04 too much to give?

Two trades I have seen(ppr leagues)C Benson for 1.04 Celek and 1.11 for 1.04

Sorry to throw this out there but...

In one league, I got the 1.04 for the 1.10 and 6.10.

And it was offered to me.

Wowsers. I just got two new offers...

1.04 pick and 3.04 pick -for- my Tom Brady

1.03 -for- my 1.09 and J. Knox (I extend Knox 2 years before trading)...

NOTE for the second trade, each team only has (4) extensions a year, so years are currency.

Just out of curiosity I offered (talked not official offer) Randy Moss in one league to each owner of picks 1.1-1.4, each one declined. I really don't think I would've traded him for any of the picks. Maybe 1.1 but still not sure.

I gave up 1.06 and 1.08 for the 1.01.

We keep 5 players each year, so this is more of a "deep keeper" league as opposed to a true dynasty.

It caused quite an uproar, with everyone believing that I screwed the guy who gave up the 1.01.

I made the initial offer, and he accepted it. If he had asked for more, I would have thrown in a 2nd round pick.

Initial year 12 team PPR dynasty league... I received the following offers for Mathews:

1. Steve Smith (Car.) for Mathews. (not a bad offer)

2. Maclin for Mathews.

3. Ben Tate (AFTER his injury) and Aromashodu for Mathews and Jordy Nelson.

4. M.Floyd, Schilens, G.Hartley, 2011 2nd rounder for Mathews, Gaffney, Prater

5. Driver, Floyd, 2nd rounder for Mathews, Jordy Nelson (he actually revoked this one a few hours after offering it)

6. D.Brown and Maclin for Mathews and Nelson

It is very apparent that Mathews is staying put, and that is just fine.

Traded 1.04 for 2010 late 1st, 2010 late 2nd, and 2011 (probably late) 1st.

Traded 1.05 for Brady

Late first round draft picks for this draft aren't as valuable and are often overvalued just because they're first rounders. I traded away my 1.9 for Donald Driver and Lance Moore the last 1/3 last season with the hopes that Driver as a WR3 would help me make a championship run. Of course, I didn't win the championship, but when the best guy on the board at 1.9 was Devin Aromashodu I felt a lot better.

If you can get a solid producer or move up in the draft order for a late first rounder, I say go for it. This year's draft really falls off after the first 6 picks imho.

Lost of great advice in the responses here, fellas. Looks like my offers are in the ballpark, even though this is our first year of trading picks. Thanks!

It all depends upon your QB scoring system, and if you start two QBs or not. If you only start one QB, and it's a 12 team league or smaller, I would not give up my 1.04 for Brady. In your league, I'd rather have one of the other 10th best QBs and the 1.04 instead of Brady and the 1.09Brady is not the beast he once was, and there are plenty of other good to servicable QBs out there.

12 team PPR league.

1.04 (and 3.04) just went for Addai and Felix Jones to the Donald Brown owner, if that helps.

I am actually the one trading Brady, it's a 10-team PPR league, and I would receive the 1.04 (and 3.04).
