Dynasty 1b (1 Viewer)

In a dynasty league, my 1b has been Helton, with Berkman picking up some eligibility in the last couple of years. I picked up Joey Votto earlier in the year, just to stash him for a rainy day.

Who's the better prospect, given that my league uses OBP instead of AVG? (I hear Barton has a great eye.)

Votto is the better fantasy player since he'll play in a bandbox and can get a few SB. Both have good eyes though neither have overwhelming power expected for a 1B.

Thanks, Sammy. In this particular league, I am less concerned about pure power than I am about pure hitting ability. I mentioned that the league uses OBP instead of AVG, but I neglected to say that it also uses Total Bases instead of HR. So a Mark Grace type 1b (typically we use this term disparagingly when we talk about 1b) would actually still have plenty of value.

Anyone else? Is there a compelling reason to drop Votto for Barton in a dynasty league?
