If you are commenting on a live draft linked in this thread, please do not "name drop" players that have yet to be drafted.

good stuff jeter. man, as the owner of pick 1.07 in another league, i'd love to see felix jones drop that far. too bad he'll likely go at 1.04 or 1.05

Obviously it depends on your dynasty/keeper parameters but I'm in a league that holds the rookie draftprior to the NFL Draft (day before). I know it sounds absurd but we did it to keep the "lazy" owners from doing absolutely no homework and showing up to the draft and getting studs.

Unless of course, the knuckleheads drafting have already dropped the name, like the three they dropped in the first five picks. :goodposting:
 
If you want to post your links for upcoming draft, along with some relative info (PPR, lineups, etc) I will keep post 1 updated.

Interesting to see felix jones drop, he seems pegged at 4 or 5. The haters have been growing in #s lately, lots of 3rd down talk.

Jamaal charles went the highest I've ever seen him go. Not much talk on him, lots of 3rd down talk since he's small. Curious to see what team he lands on.

Forte went high too, I wonder how much Chicago showing interest had to do with that? Juice could of maybe traded down a couple spots, but it's risky because 6-10 flip flop around quite a bit. Better to just get your guy.

excellent read, i think i need to find a league that does this just to add some fun predraft

For those of you following the action. Seattle Stars traded picks 2.05 & 2.06 to Tastes Like Chicken for Limas Sweed and pick 3.04.

I would have taken Jones if he'd fallen. But once he was gone I couldn't justify leaving what I consider the best WR on the board to reach for a RB group that has a lot of questions. Even as badly as I need RBs, I think WR (or best talent) was the right choice. Just my opinion of course...
 
One thing i know about WILL is that every chance he gets to take a wr, HE'S TAKING ONE!!!

I have drafted with Will a few times and scratch my head, but this is a method to his madness. :confused:

I just don't see a good future for Felix Jones in the NFL.Charles can run tough inside with some power to go along with his unreal speed. Unless you watch actual games from this past season... then you wouldn't have see that.Forte is more unknown and showed how athletic he was at the combine.
 
I see Jamaal Charles like a Robert Smith used to be (minus the injured)...Smith would run between the tackles and break it to the outside and use his speed. Not a lot after contact, but if you give him the hole then look out.

I realize most of our drafts are either soon after the NFL draft next month, or sometime soon before the season begins in the fall. Here is one that has started already and this should be a good spot to post links and results to the many upcoming rookie drafts.

Maybe because Yahoo doesn't support a year round dynasty league format.
