[Dynasty] 2017 Draft Prospects (3 Viewers)

Top 50 tidbit: I have 3 TEs in my top 35 players. One in top 15...not the one you think. (List comes out later this week)
That tweet was from earlier today and he's had Howard as his top TE for over a year, which to me would imply he's the one we think it is so if it's not him do you all think it's Njoku? I would tend to think so but I know he was super high on Gerald Everret as well but can't imagine he'd put him in top 15, if even top 50,  so if not Howard my money is on Njoku who I'm thinking is going to have the best TE combine since Vernon Davis. What is interesting to me is I think if he puts Njoku or anyone over Howard it will be based largely on what's he's hearing, not so much because a bowl game changed his perception.

NFL.com's Lance Zierlein believes Pitt QB Nathan Peterman could be an NFL starter.
Peterman has "the poise, accuracy and field vision" to earn that label, according to Zierlein. So many are going to try to find the next Dak Prescott, but that goal is impossible. Peterman, however, could prove to be a great value and is easily the top senior passer in this class. He was bumped up to the Senior Bowl a few weeks ago.

Drake TE Eric Saubert has been the early standout at East West Shrine practices, according to Josh Norris.
Saubert entered the week as Norris' top tight end at the event, and he lived up to that billing. Saubert is an extremely comfortable receiver who was able to separate from safeties and linebackers in one on ones, adjusting for off target throws and bringing in difficult catches. It is a loaded class at the position, but be sure to keep Saubert in mind.

So Faust posted DJ's  top 50 a little up in this thread and he did have Njoku above Howard and Everett as this third ranked TE at #35. I'd still pick Howard above Njoku myself, without knowing landing spot anyway, but still pretty interesting. Njoku's athleticism is eye opening  and I think he can be YAC mismatch monster but I think Howard is more NFL ready and is a good enough athlete in his own right.

two white WR in the top 50.........ok......

Patrick Woo @P_Woo

As heard on @ESPNPensacola: "Jordan Leggett, who is from Navarre, has opted not to participate." #SeniorBowl #LocalMediaDay

Dane Brugler @dpbrugler

Curious decision by Leggett. Loaded TE class, not a lock top-75 selection. He could have helped himself in Mobile.

Western Michigan WR Corey Davis declined an invitation to attend the Senior Bowl.
We have waited to see Davis at this event for over a year, so this is a bummer. Davis dominated during his time at WMU, ending his final season 98 passes for 1,511 yards and 19 touchdowns. Davis shines after the catch, picking up chunks of yards at a high rate. He also displayed an ability to go up and get it. We will have to wait to see Davis until the NFL Combine.

Oklahoma WR Dede Westbrook was not listed on the final Senior Bowl roster.
Westbrook caught 74 passes for 1,465 yards (19.8 yards per reception) and 16 touchdowns this season, but plenty of questions remain. Westbrook was arrested on two occasions for family violence complaints prior to joining Oklahoma, a piece of news that did not pop up until December. He also dealt with a career threatening freak injury when he ruptured a small intestine. At some point Westbrook will have to answer these questions from teams and from the media.

ESPN's Mel Kiper says Virginia Tech QB Jerod Evans' lack of starting experience will hurt his draft stock.
Kiper told the media on Thursday that Evans is no better than the sixth-best QB prospect in the Draft and not heading towards Rds. 1 or 2. He went on to say that the NFL will punish him for not having started more in college (Evans was a one-year starter the FBS level). The industry consensus on Evans at the moment is a Rds. 4-6 developmental prospect. Like fellow ACC gunslinger Brad Kaaya, Evans should have returned to school.

Mel Kiper Jr. indicated that he believes Boise State WR Thomas Sperbeck could carve out a role in the NFL.
While Kiper likes Sperbeck's skill-set, Day 3 is the best he can realistically hope for come the draft. Undrafted free agency is also well within the field of play for the 6-foot, 175-pounder. Said Kiper on his Thursday conference call, "I think he can make it as a slot receiver in this league with his smarts and his hands and his concentration." Sperbeck's career at Boise State was of the brilliant variety, as he surpassed 1,200 yards receiving in each of his final two seasons with the Broncos.

Michigan RB De'Veon Smith has been invited to the Senior Bowl.
The event was in need of a running back after Wayne Gallman declined the invitation. We think Elijah McGuire is the best running back at the Shrine Game, but scouts might want a further look at Smith, who is more of a pure power runner.

Am I wrong for considering Fournette and Mike Williams or Corey Davis at 1 & 2. 20 team dynasty, non ppr. I NEED a solid WR on my roster. It's a 20 team league, start 3 WRs/2 RBs.

I have Derrick Henry and don't want to win this year. Also having picks 6 and 7 I could take a RB2 at that range assuming the top 4 are pretty much set. Out of McCaffrey, Foreman, Kamara, Mixon, Perine, someone will fall to me. I'm looking to rebuild and was hoping in 2017-2018 season to also pick in the top 4, and 5-12.

also fantasy wise, do you believe this tight end class is as legit as it looks, who is your top 3 tight ends, in order?

Way too early to answer, but

What does tthat even mean?  Are you taking for 2018 already?  If you don't want to win, then what do you care about need?  Get the two players with highest value, which are probably going to be Fournette and Cook, and trade them to fill need if you ever do want to win.
