These are consensus dynasty rankings for year 2007 1pt./tackle .5pt assist 3pt./sack or interception 2pt. forced fumble/fumble recovery 1pt./pass defensed.

If you vote other, please specify.

Also, please comment on your vote, and list any player that should be nominated for the next round. By doing this we can get some good information about players being considered here and why. If everyone contributes then each poll position can be similar to a player spotlight. That is idealy what I would like to see. I definitly need feedback on what players you think should be on these polls that may not be. I do not have as much knowledge of IDPs as I do offensive players so all of the good players on defense are not neccessarily in my forward memory banks so to speak. So I need some help from the rest of your there.

1. Adrian Wilson 10/12/1979

2. Kerry Rhodes 8/2/1982

3. Troy Palamalu 4/19/1981

4. Gibril Wilson 11/12/1981

5. Sean Taylor 4/1/1983

6. Madieu Williams 10/18/1981

7. Sean Jones 3/2/1982

8. Chris Hope 9/29/1980

9. Ed Reed 9/11/1978

10. Champ Bailey 06/22/1978

11. Charles Tillman 2/23/1981

12. Bob Sanders 2/24/1981

What about B. Dawkins? The guy just keeps performing year after year. I know he is getting up there in age, but he doesn't show it.

I will add Dawkins to the next poll.

Dawkins is a free agent after this season and the Eagles have shown a tendency to let older players go instead of giving them thier last big pay day. Even when those players still haven't lost a step yet. It is part of thier salary cap philosophy.

So Dawkins may be playing with another team.

This uncertainty may be another factor besides age that could cause people to shy away from putting a lot of value in Dawkins.

I agree that the Eagles have done that in the past....I think it is a little different with Dawkins though. He is the biggest leader on this team for one. With the guys they have let go in the past, they thought they were done for the most part. B. Dawkins has shown no signs of being finsihed yet. They also have noone ready to fill that spot. They are already trying to fit Considine into Lewis's spot and I don't think that will last too long. I think they are going to look at S in the draft to fill that hole.BTW....."Bringing his tenacious and emotional play week in and week out, the passionate Dawkins is the unquestioned leader of the defense and signed a two-year contract extension on 8/6 that will keep him in Philadelphia through the 2008 season. "
