Tough call in dealing with all the veterans. I'm hesitant to take Robert mathis here because we dont know at this point what will happen to Freeny and the fact that he is not a 3 down DE. However, the numbers speak for themselves and he is putting up numbers better than most guys on here. Add to this the fact that this is only his third year and you understand my reasoning. Ogunleye is also a tempting choice here.

I chose John Abraham. He was #28 last season despite missing five games, he's something like #11 this year (he was when I printed off the stats a week or two ago anyway), he's young... I don't see any real reason not to take him here.

I imagine the possibility of Abraham switching teams has people (including myself) a little gunshy. It's enough of a question mark to have me looking elsewhere.I had to go with Strahan at this point. Even though this is supposed to be for dynasty, if Strahan puts in just one more 50-60 solo/dozen sack season, he'd be worth skipping over some younger talent. Despite being 34, he's not really showing any signs of slowing down, so I don't think it's far-fetched to predict that for next year.

Aaron Kampman is the #9 DL in my league - he's incredibly productive if your league rewards tackles by DL.

I'd like to see Orpheus Roye on the list in the next few gos ...
