Dynasty Lamar Jackson trade (1 Viewer)

Dynasty - 12 team, Full PPR, Superflex [start 2 rb, 2, wr, 1, te, 3 flex, 1 super]

My team is going to be bad this year. I have three 1sts this year (2026), my early first, a mid and a late first.

A league mate of mine is giving me the opportunity to trade for Lamar. Trade would be Dak + two 1sts for Lamar Jackson.

I'm leaning towards accepting because Lamar is elite and will probably be elite for years and the 2026 draft class looks relatively weak. If Arch Manning and Sellers underperforms/stays in college the 2026 class might be straight up bad. Thoughts?

My core
QB: Dak, Darnold, AR
RB: Achane, Pacheco, B-Rob
WR: Rashee Rice, Pittman, Luther Burden, Jayden Higgins, Tre Harris
TE: McBride, Kraft

If you are playing for the future I think you keep the picks as they hold their value much better than players. Lamar is also the type of player that could quickly lose value if he gets injured in a way that kills his running ability. That is the risk by acquiring him when you aren't competing.

Defending champ in a 5 team keeper. Also, have 1.2...guy offering Lamar for that pick.....hard to say no to Lamar man. Have to love his game and the chip on his shoulder this year. If I'm rebuilding, no, would not make that trade however. Keep the picks and run with Dak.

I used another site to calculate.
Accept if you like paying 147 value over 3 players to consolidate into 1QB valued at 119. Top 3QB elite.

Decline if don't want to pay the price.
147 for 119. Best case. Worst case it's 172value for 119.

I think AR still has update but risk reward. Dak should be solid.

Does the trade put you in position to build and grow? What else could you get for comparable value?

Another ranking site with Trade Value Chart for August:

LJAX = 119 SF value
Dak = 47
AR = 34
Darnold = 32

2025
Pick#1 72
Pick #2 62
#3 59
#4 57
56
55
54
#8 52
#9 50
#10 49
#11 47
#12 46

2026 1st rd 1-3 pick value 54

47 =Dak
59= low end 72 for #1 overall 1st
54= mid first
46= late first

You're giving #147 best case for #119 or 172 to 119 worst case.
However it is consolidated into QB upgrade.
Elite QBs carry a premium. Does this improve your team or= lateral move? Will it be easier to rebuild with Ljax?

Whati don't understand if how you already have Luther Burden and Jayden Higgins if you haven't drafted yet.

Keep Luther Burden be patient.

I think it's harder decision than some think. You're buying Ljax high. Paying premium. That can still be a good move but i try to do value moves. I'm a coin flip.

We have already done the 2025 rookie draft. I had three picks in the 2nd and took Burden, Higgins, and Harris.

It's tough giving up future picks, but in my mind the opportunity to acquire a proven top 4 elite QB doesn't come by very often.

I think accepting for Lamar is betting on the rookie WRs I have to hit.

I'm a toss up too which is why I came here to ask what others thought lol.
