My first thought is that Saban wants to employ a 2 back system with Ricky and Ronnie Brown.

Ricky also I think will return to NFL for reasons if money.

Can both backs be successful and warrant starting spots?

The last year before Ricky was suspended - he put up much better numbers versus what Ronnie Brown could do.

Thoughts?

He looked ok when he came back the first time so I wouldn't be surprised if he did it again. Besides, he needs money to buy pot.

When/If Ricky plays for the Dolphins in '07, I think we'll see a 70/30 split between Ronnie and Ricky. Since the 50/50 split during '05 season, the following things have changed:

1) Ricky did not play NFL football in '06

2) Ricky (age 30) fell one year further from his "prime", while Ronnie (age 25) is one year closer to his "prime"

3) Ronnie is no longer a rookie
