What is the norm for a payment period from comissioner to owner. I won the league this year and still have not recieved payment. If this is no big deal then I am ok with it. This was my first year of playing in a pay league, so this is all uncharted water for me. Looking for a few professional opinions.

The time frame should be outlined in your rules. I don't know of any individually run pay leagues where payment is not made within 6 weeks after the fantasy superbow and quite honestly most are within a couple of weeks.

All payments should be paid by the Commish within 2 or 3 weeks after the league Super Bowl. I commish 3 football leagues and 1 baseball league, and I always keep the fantasy cash separate from my cash. Not to scare you, but some don't do this, and that's when they get into trouble, or should I say short on cash.

I have always paid mine no later then first week of Janurary 20 years and counting! If your commish is still dawging it I would suggest you find another league. It;s warning signs he is useing league funds for something else! I am still owned for 4 leagues I have won over the last 20 years. Heard every excuse there is but bottom line the league funds should be put aside.

If not request that he uses the league safe site or get out. There are unfortunatly a lot of deadbeat commishes out there that think they own your winnings or use them for there personal use and can't pay up. I got married, my wife spent it all, i declared bankruptcy,

My business went bad, I HAVE HEARD IT ALL.

Another warning sign is if they keep expanding leagues without paying fast that tells you they are planning to rape you one of these years comeing up.

Should be detailed in the rules. All my league by-laws state that winnings begin going out the week after week 17 after games are complete. I've sent $ to division winners after week 13 regular season was over before as requested. If you're not getting anything by now that is pretty fishy. I'd e-mail the commish or give him a call personally.

Yep, should be in the rules. I've commissioned for 20+ years and have *always* paid the week after our championship. IMO, the latest you should be paid is on/near Super Bowl Sunday, the official end of the NFL season (um, Pro Bowl notwithstanding).

I would be pissed and concerned at this point. Payment should go out the week following all results final. Is your commish a member here? Out him.

have you made any attempt to contact the commish? maybe he mailed you the check and it got lost in the mail. whatever, be proactive, don't come on here whining until you have more answers.
