FYI, its Ryans, DeMeco HOU LB.

I think that a case could be made to have Shaun Phillips and Shawne Merriman on this list.

I took Ryans, but was severly tempted to pick Lofa.

I don't really understand all the love for urlacher.

Situations are always subject to chande for IDP's. For me, it's either Ryans or Hawk. Those are the two that I would take before the others in an inaugural dynasty draft.

In dynasty I would agree. They are top 7 in tackles as rookies and should get even better.

In my book, Hawk is the top dog.

Ryans is definitely good, but I'm not sure how he'll perform when his team inks another top-shelf LB (...and YES, the Texans will need to find a another LB over the next year or two). Hawk has shown to be productive despite being team with another productive LB (ie. Barnett). Also, Hawk is a far superior athlete to Ryans.

If Favre retires next year and Rogers takes over for GB, Hawk will be on the field 75% of the time.

I'm taking Bulluck...Ryans, Hawk, and others are nice..but I'll take a guy who's in the middle of his prime and ride him out for the next 3-4 yrs over the rookies.

Need more votes before a winner can be decided on this.

Hawk will be on the next poll sounds like some of you like him more than anyone else.

If none of these really distance themselves from the others then I may have to do a run off poll right away.

I voted Fletcher with Ryans and Merriman trailing right behind. The fact that Urlacher is running away with this is ridiculous!!

I voted for Bulluck. He's been at or very near the top of my league's LB's rankings for the last 3-4 years in a row. He's as good as money in the bank as far as I am concerned. And, at age 29, he should continue to put up solid if not spectacular stats for the next 3-4 years.

how the mighty have fallen. No mention of Vilma?

Of course the system makes a difference, but he should be on the list.

If this vote was done last year, Vilma is # 1. Voters move far too much with the current results instead of focusing on long term in dynasty leagues.

Bullock is 29. A little older than I would like for my number one, although I generally try not to look beyond three years.

Vilma, Tatupu, Hawk are at the top of mine. Bullock and Urlacher are right there.

Maybe do a poll for candidates for this list. Poll for a poll-LOL

All kidding aside these rankings are great information.

This forum is good.

How can Ernie Sims no AJ Hawk not be on your list??
I will add Sims Hawk and Vilma in the next poll. And I will remove Ray Lewis who currently has no votes. So far it looks like Bulluck is winning this. I will let this run a bit longer though and see if that holds or not. Thanks to everyone for participating.
