These are consensus dynasty rankings for year 2007 1pt./tackle .5pt assist 3pt./sack or interception 2pt. forced fumble/fumble recovery 1pt./pass defensed.

If you vote other, please specify.

Also, please comment on your vote, and list any player that should be nominated for the next round. By doing this we can get some good information about players being considered here and why. If everyone contributes then each poll position can be similar to a player spotlight. That is idealy what I would like to see. I definitly need feedback on what players you think should be on these polls that may not be. I do not have as much knowledge of IDPs as I do offensive players so all of the good players on defense are not neccessarily in my forward memory banks so to speak. So I need some help from the rest of your there.

1. Keith Bulluck 4/4/1977

2. Demeco Ryans 7/28/1984

3. Brian Urlacher 5/25/1978

4. AJ Hawk 1/6/1984

5. Will Witherspoon 8/19/1980

6. Jonathan Vilma 4/16/1982

7. Lofa Tatupu 11/15/1982

8. Shawne Merriman 5/25/1984

9. Lance Briggs 11/12/1980

I think the Colts signed Brackett long term this season, he's not an exceptional talent but he is their D captain and should continue to rack up lots of tackles

Briggs is a tackle-machine and a beast of a player. A lot depends on his 2007 situation, however he should continue to perform on a consistent basis if he stays in Chicago.

Although who knows what might happen once that big fat juicy contract has been signed.

Went Briggs but alot is going to depend on his situation next year.

I think Bart Scott should be on the list now...he finished 12th in LB scoring and is a young up & coming player.

I chose Morrison, he's the youngest guy listed who's been a top performer already, and after year 2, I'm willing to buy into what he can do.

I could've traded Zach for him & a pick before this season - I didn't do it. I made the championship game, and would've missed the playoffs other wise, but it's the only deal I've regretted not making in the dynasty league I'm in.

And please add Zach soon to the list.

Went with Pierce and am shocked he's not getting more love. Briggs contract situation keeps me from jumping for him at this point. Methinks Morrison's stock is inflated a bit due to how terrible the Raiders were. Granted they don't have the look of a quick fix team but I don't think Morrison is as talented as some of the other players listed.
